I couldn’t check into the room at 3:00 PM because it was not ready. The front desk staff were nice; however, the elevator attendant did not allow me to get into the elevator and instead let people behind me go first. I felt very discriminated against.

Firstly i paid for early check in and requested a room upgrade to be able to check in at 9am. Upon arrival i was told the upgrade was only available for one day so i did not get the upgrade. Then i was told as a result the early check in i paid for would not be accomodated at 9am but will be ready at 12 midday. My expedia status should have afforded me early check in at 12 however i still had to pay for it. I then had to wait until 12 45 to get an available room. Luckily i enquired what the additional charges were because i was almost charged for an upgrade i did not get and i was required to pay a further "amenites" fee of 30+ dollars per day and a 150us deposit that should be refunded. Overall service was poor and the kids had to endure after very long flights and transits. A toddlers bed was requested long in advance and this was also not available to me. Safe to say i wont be back to aliz

Some of the staff was absolutely amazing and a lot of them shouldn’t have jobs our stay was extremely awful here do not recommend we were literally getting spit on from the top balcony and the room was not a king bed it was a queen

The Aliz Hotel was an excellent choice. All staff were very responsive to needs and helpful with questions. The rooms were well kept, walkable to local attractions and helped to make our trip a success. If ever back in NY, we will stay here again.

I had a great stay at Aliz Hotel Times Square. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout my visit. The location is perfect—close to everything but still quiet enough to relax. Overall, a very pleasant experience, and I would definitely stay here again.

I wanted to give it 5 stars because the hotel was nice, warm, friendly & nice concierge but I had a weird interaction with one of the FarmtoBurger staff. On our last night I was stocking up on ice on the lower level and waited for an elevator and when one reached me it was a little full with two men (staff) and their cleaning supplies so I stepped back and decided to wait for another elevator. The FarmtoBurger guy blatantly and rudely said, “there’s the stairs.” I paid good money to stay here and that’s a respond I get? I’m a young girl, never been to New York, god forbid I don’t want to be in a cramped elevator alone with two men. That was pretty rude, and I made sure to tell the bartender for that restaurant. Not much of a respond from him (although I get he may not have any authority over whoever the staff was.) Other than that interaction, huge shout out to Donovan and Adrien the front desk staff. They were gentlemen and so kind & helpful our entire trip. Our rooms were nice and clean, everything was conveniently where it needed to be, no issues with our room. Front desk had the best customer service through out all of New York.

The staff was very good & the rooms were clean and nice! The pictures were deceiving. The rooms weren’t as big as they looked online but overall great staff and hotel room. Location was a bit eerie but that seemed like all of NYC especially if you aren’t from there!
