A mixed experience

Had experience with 2 rooms, one very good- a king room with sleeper sofa & fridge, the other with 2 doubles was fair- connecting door wouldn’t lock, there was an empty spot where the fridge should be and the bathroom toilet did not flush properly.

I had to change rooms 4 times. The paint was peeling, wallpaper peeling, heater was on all of the time, when I called front desk, they said to open the emergency window. Will NEVER stay there again. Very dated.

The hotel was clean, but I would say it could definitely use some updating and some more offerings in the room. The restaurant was closed and they didn’t even have like a little coffee machine in the room for the morning. I’m also used to USB’s for charging. Overall, I think the hotel just needs some updating.

We were on the 45th floor with a view over Times Square and it was the best way to end our trip through the USA. It was an easy walk from Penn Station to the hotel and everything we wanted to see was within a reasonable walk. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The hotel was clean and convenient. What I did not like was the $35 per day Amenties Fee that appeared on our bill after the stay. We did not use any amenties. Ridiculous. Won't stay there again because of that fee.

The elevator keys never worked. Our room had mold in the bath tub peeling wallpaper in the bathroom, something splattered on the wall by bed. Table chipped all over, bed frame chipped all over, rust and mold by ice machine, cracked and peeling wall paper by elevator. And house keeping knocking on doors at 8:45am

Absolutely perfect location for anything you would want to do in Manhattan. The only issue I had with the hotel itself is that it’s a bit outdated, the heat is extremely hot and you feel like you’re in a sauna. Our window was slightly cracked, and a draft was coming in, so it was a bit hard to regulate the temperature. The carpet definitely needs to be replaced. Other than that, it was just right for what we needed.
