Great location. Property needs some love (Bose sound system that only plays CD's, toilet seat wouldn't stay up (bad counter install), terrible analog TV, misleading 1st photo on website (no wine on the roof unless you rent the penthouse)). But, friendly staff, and you can't beat the location!
This was quite literally the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. My room did not have AC and it’s summer. Calling the front desk doesn’t help because no one is there to answer. When I left for my event I notified them and they said they’d send someone to fix it. When I got back later that night of course no one is at the front desk. No surprise the AC still doesn’t work. Finally got a hold of someone and they said I can change rooms. They’re not apologetic whatsoever. The new room smelled of mildew and the bedroom still didn’t have working AC and the bed was so squeaky. At that point I just needed to get some sleep as I had my flight the next day…to which I didn’t sleep because the room was so hot. Very disappointing. The only good aspect was luggage check and the proximity to Central Park.

Air conditioning in our room was on the fritz—staff immediately was able to switch our room & all was well and very comfortable for remainder of our stay!
Elevators were very small, fits 4 people max without luggage and only one Elevator of the total two were actually working during our entire stay. Our key cards stopped working on our third day which was inconvenient due to the long wait times for the Elevator from the 9th floor. Room furnature was very dated and overly used.
The room we received is was horrible, mold,noisy, old bathroom. Afer 1 day we complain about this and we received a better room but same facilities. No internet during 7 days, noisy room... but this one was cleaner than the first. All that saves this hotel is the location. Central and close to all attractions.

Friendly obliging and helpful staff - comfortable beds and nice room and bathroom. Very central location - I would recommend it.
Extremely convenient. We were able to walk - sometimes long distances but still walkable - to almost everywhere. The room was not spacious but convenient for it purpose. Bed was comfortable and shower very spacious. Staff was east coast friendly and helpful.

Main reason to stay here is location location location. It is between 5th and 6th avenues
Close to food restaurants and shopping. Also close to bus and subway
Big negatives are no coffee/tea and refrigerator in rooms. Have to pay extra for refrigerator. However there is mini shop in lobby
One of the 2 elevators wasn’t working when we were there so there was a lot of waiting during peak hours

Disappointed. Unwelcoming staff initially. Booked two rooms, one smelling of bleach. My colleague cleaned it herself. Cheap furniture that smelled unpleasant inside. Very convenient though. Handy friendly little shop in foyer.
