With a bit of TLC the property could become a 5-star stay. The good: Location is fantastic for Fifth Ave shopping, Rockefeller Center and Central Park. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Staff were excellent - apologetic for elevator inconvenience and offered to bring our bags down.They knew the neighborhood well and had great dining suggestions. The needs improvement: Two elevators - one not operating during the entirety of our stay and the other out for half a day. Luckily we were on the third floor, so not too bad walking up and down. Treadmill out of order. Shower water luke warm. Terrible wifi that, when it was working, was very slow. If I have to stay in that area of town again, may give them another try to see if things have improved because the potential is there.

Great location and very accessible. The staff were friendly and attentive, and the room was clean, comfortable and well-appointed. Wifi in rooms was spotty, so there would regularly be guests using it downstairs. It was quiet except for the night that city workers (not at all the hotel’s fault) decided to replace 2 drains on the street below, jackhammering from 11:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. An outlet on both sides of the bed would have also been helpful.

First room they offered was like a prison cell. Got this changed to a bigger room, which was better. Second night there they decided to do reconstruction work at 11.30pm and went on for quite a few hours. Receptionist wasn't helpful at all.

Great price for great location. Rooms are tiny but this is ideal for a stay in NYC in which you are out in the city all day. It would be nice if the bathroom doors shut. Neither the magnets in my room or my daughter’s room closed. Awkward….

Not the worst, but down there!

This was way below average. The room was small and not as depicted in photos. The soap and shampoo was left in the trash can on the desk, the towels were left in a pile on the dresser. The floor and carpets seemed worn and needing replacement. It wasn't the worst I've ever stayed, it within the bottom three! I would not go back!
