Great location for Manhattan and a very good room for the price. It was spacious but without any frills The bed linens were very nice. There was no coffee in the room. The staff was friendly. I would definitely stay there again.

À NY Jewel in great location

This is a NY jewel in a terrific location, close to Fifth Ave shopping, MOMA, Radio City, Central Park and an easy walk to Broadway theatres as well as Carnegie Hall. My room was large, comfortable, recently remodeled, and very quiet.Front desk staff was very welcoming and helpful, as were the men who tend luggage, fetch cabs, etc. Price was very reasonable.

I arrived at 3pm or check in and stayed at the hotel for 3 hrs and fire alarm went off 3 times during that time period. No explanation from front desk/staff. Went to bed that evening and alarm went off again at 4:30am and 6am. Again no explanation but had to use my cell to call down to front desk to make sure all is ok b/c the room phone was out. Shared concerns with staff upon check out and no explanation and no efforts to compensate. Said I need to send complaint to expedia and they would contact them. Unacceptable conditions for 1 night stay.
