We didn’t enjoy our stay at the Westin NYC, they placed us into a room that had weird view, the shower had strange smell, no small fridge, renovation was going on while we were there and no one advised us. Really poor service and the facility is old!

We stayed for four nights. The hotel is clean and spacious. Staff were polite and helpful. Very convenient location in midtown Manhattan for a short visit. We could walk to nearby attractions and take the bus or metro to those afar. We had a very good deal as well.

We had a fantastic time visiting New York, and the Westin was the perfect location—reasonably priced for the area. The doormen, security, and front desk staff were all excellent and very welcoming. That said, the rooms could use some updating, as ours had a bit of a worn-out look. One thing that surprised me was the $20 charge just to use the mini fridge—I’ve never encountered that at a hotel before, but maybe it’s a New York thing. The lobby was spacious, providing a great spot for our group to relax and regroup after our days out. We also enjoyed the $40 restaurant credit, which was a nice perk. Overall, despite the minor drawbacks, I would stay here again!
