What a gem in Newport. Beautiful, very clean rooms, comfy beds. The pool and hot tub were a bonus. Yummy breakfast in the morning. Staff is very friendly and kind. We can’t wait to return for another stay!

Room had a balcony and no where on the booking did it say you couldn't smoke. But when we got there they said you can't smoke anywhere on the property. Also when we were checking into the place an employee was folding towels in the dining area where the breakfasts are, kinda gross. Room itself was clean. Soaps in the bathroom are communal so I hope they check these during room cleanings, as some people do weird stuff Free buffet breakfast was good for what it was! Cubed russet potatoes, omelets, waffles, fruit, juice, yogurts, cold cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, coffee, tea...nice assortment

Overall it was very nice. Just a few things I noticed. The hot tub was luke warm which was disappointing. The sauna was also not very warm?? The sheets on the bed were very scratchy and rough. I really like soft sheets when I go to hotels and these were pretty bad. The bed was a bit too lumpy and firm for me. I woke up a bit sore. Everything else was great! Hotel front desk called the room shortly after check in to make sure everything was ok. That was a very nice touch. Staff was very nice. Breakfast was a bit boring. Could maybe add just a few more things such as a protein, potatoes and eggs instead of just 2 hot options: eggs, sausage one day and eggs and potatoes the next. Why not all 3? Maybe add a crockpot of oatmeal as well? Just a suggestion. I noticed other guests suggested adding some things as well.

Rooms were nice and clean the bed wasn’t that comfortable. We went there for the jacuzzi but it wasn’t in service. I didn’t have the breakfast so I can’t comment on that. I enjoyed the sauna had to wait 15 minutes for it to heat up tho. The pool was nice. Overall I give it a 8 out of 10

Pool was very cloudy (couldn’t even see the bottom of the shallow section) so we didn’t swim which we were really disappointed with. Also, we had an issue with dried stains on our comforter when we checked in. The front desk was apologetic and replaced them right away for us though.

The room and service were excellent. No problems at all. Even the mattresses were comfortable. All areas of the hotel, both inside the room and in the hallways and common areas, were clean and fresh. (I did not use the pool or hot tub, but enjoyed having that option.) Breakfast could have more plant-based options, but otherwise good.
