Stayed here one month after it’s complete remodel and grand opening. Clean and everything is shiny and new. April 2025. The only issue I can report was the front desk staff wasn’t really friendly. There were several crammed at the small checkin area and none of them had a smile on thier face. We had a slight issue with my checkin because of how it came across in Expedia, but it seemed to be my fault so I excused the unfriendly attitude and service without a smile. I did recieve a complimentary bottle of champagne from the hotel front desk staff, but we were told we couldn’t drink it in the hotel bar area and would be charged corkage fee, so we just took it home. Our room was wonderful. Bathroom wonderful. Ocean view wonderful. Loved the shower and the balcony overlooking the ocean. Everything brand new from the coffee maker to hair dryer. Comfy bath robes too. We absolutely loved the bar staff. Wonderful service both days we had drinks and bites. We liked them so much we had dinner there. Small tapa style food, but top notch and delicious in a relaxed atmosphere. Would stay and eat here again! It’s not a five star hotel, but it’s a crisp clean brand new four star for sure. Wonderful parking situation without a fee to park.

Large room with a beautiful view and balcony to watch the sunset. Welcome basket with snacks was so appreciated. All the staff were so welcoming and friendly. Food was great and such a cozy spot to enjoy the view. The only complaint was the bed was not very comfortable. I would stay again and book a room on the newer side. Enjoyed the hottub being separated in its own room from the pool.

Perfect for me for my 4 night stay in Newport

The view was great, the location, perfect. It is more like a motel in that it has doors opening outside, but they make it feel more like a hotel with a lot of extras. The coffee maker was a nice larger and newer Keurig, they put a pair of binoculars on the table for your use while there, and the sink, shower, etc. were all newer. There is a fridge and microwave and a bigger safe (laptops fit). I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

The Allred is located in a good spot where you can walk some places and most activities in the area are close if you prefer to drive. The room was clean, newly remodeled, and comfortable with a great view. The food is good. The only minor issue is we could hear our neighbors pretty easily. Luckily they went to bed early.

Easy access to amything you would like along the Oregon coast. Whale watching center is about 15 to 20 minutes away. We traveled in non-peak season, so travel times may vary. Room was very nice
