They have bed bugs, our toilet was clogged, we couldnt watch our tv until midnight cause the front desk person had to go get a roku from walmart and they vrought it to our room at midnight and they couldnt make a key for our room so we had to stay in the room when we got it or have them let us in witb their master key. It was very clean other than the bedbugs and all the workers were friendly and helpful.

I'm getting tires appropriate rooms with peace and quiet there is plenty of open area around to walk or wander around. 24/7 Phillips gas station across the street with good supplies not to mention bomb chicken on the left side. Little upset that there's no smoking rooms I think there should be. But some redemption is that there's plenty of trees around shade but prepare for strong breezes. This place has the lowest rates in the south side of Iowa with a good access point to new locations. I love the monthly stay option it's totally worth it for a place to crash while traveling. Keep the heart of ColfaxInn alive.

Would not recommend. We did not stay because they could not provide a room that we could access with a key. The front desk said we would have to leave the door ajar if we left the room. If we did leave the room and locked it, the staff would just crawl through the window. They made it sound like it was easy to do. Contacted Expedia to get my money back and they said they would get back to me in 24 hours, but they have not.

Upon entering hotel horrible odor all through hallways. Room didn’t smell. When. Checking in with as told no tv and no hot water. Also observed pool was closed. Was told beds was comfortable. They were not and very thinn little blankets.
