Cool older hotel right next to everything in Rotorua. This is my second time here and would come back again next time I'm in town.

We stayed in the cabin with a private kitchen. It came with towels, pots, pans, dishware and cutlery, fridge, microwave and hotplates to prepare food. Our stay was amazing. We loved the hot pool and the location. The cabin had heating and was warm (very cosy). The shared bathrooms were clean, with a hairdryer for ladies. Not sure if there were any dishes in a shared kitchen. Easy check in/out experience, very nice staff in reception. We'll be returning.

For a change the online pictures do not do a property justice. This fantastic and newly renovated lodge is set in acres of spectacular and interesting grounds. Everything has been done to a very high standard, including the service, rooms and on-site dining. Set 10 or so Kms from Rotarua it avoids the "smells". Our room was one of the smaller ones and lacked a good view, but nevertheless was well appointed and very comfortable (heated floors in the bathroom - wow!!) We enjoyed our stay immensely. Nothing at all to complain about here - would highly recommend Hana Lodge and wish them a successful future.
