The CLOSENESS TO IT ALL! One block off the beach and one block to Shops and Restaurants. Enjoyed the evening strolls along the beach. Breakfast was very special and tasty. They even gave us a bag of Breakfast treats to take on our early departing train. Also arranged transfers to the Niceville Train Station.

The location is very good close to everything What I did not like about this property is that the was 4 nights Jazz festival the music was extremely loud and the whole building was shaking we couldn’t sleep at all I was told this happens Every July 25 to July 28 I thought we should have been told

Our original room on the lower floors had a smell, and we found the facilities within the room dysfunctional. We told the staff, and they kindly moved us to a higher floor with a similar view, but the room was so much better. We enjoyed our new room. We also stayed while they were going through some minor renovations. We think that when completed, the upgrades will make the place extra lovely.

The newly refurbished room was very well decorated. Air conditioning was very effective in the room. Filter water stations on every floor were very convenient. The only thing they need to sort out is getting the in room TV connected to the internet, as a foreign traveller the TV is pointless without having the internet as without it you only have the French terrestrial channels. If you will rely on a lift to go up and down the building you will be frustrated, there is one lift for the whole hotel and even once you’ve waited a good amount of time for it the inside of the lift is very hot.

The hotel was clean and conveniently located near the beach. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We stayed in a room for three people, but the third bed was a sofa bed, which was quite uncomfortable.

The property was beautiful. In a very great location. Just a block from the beach and shopping. My biggest complaint was the lack of cold air in my room. I had friends on the second floor and their room was cold but my room on the 6th floor was extremely warm. I told the front desk and the best they can do was give us a floor fan. They say the ac was working fine but the heat outside was making our room warm. They need to fix the air and make sure every room is comfortable especially in the summer months.

We really enjoyed our stay at Albert 1’er Hotel. It was clean and very modern. It’s also right in Old Town Nice which has all the shops and cafes as well as only being 2 block from the beach. We reserved a room which a beach view that was spectacular. It is on a bit of a busy road so you will get some traffic noise. We would highly recommend it and would stay here again.

The room was small but comfortable. The tv barely worked and only had French speaking channels even after changing the language in settings. You could not login to streaming services so if you were resting for a while you better take a nap. Location was close to beach, restaurants, and shopping which was great.
