This hotel is a bit outdated on the outside, but it's clean and comfortable, which is what matters most to me. The location is great, with easy access to local attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful. While the decor could use some updating, the room was well-maintained and the bed was comfortable. Overall, a decent stay for the price.

The room has a strange layout that was inconvenient. The wash base was not in the same room as the toilet and shower. Instead, it was the centerpiece of the sleeping area, which makes no sense.

It was a quick overnight stay. The Wi-Fi worked great. I would stay here again. We had a wonderful dinner at the Millenium Bar and Marina which was a short drive from the hotel.

The hotel was clean and recently updated....new flooring, beds, bathrooms. The continental breakfast was AMAZING. It offered a variety of options....a pancake maker, waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, toast/bagels, cereal, wonderful coffee, fruit, and more. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Over the top service

We got stuck in severe weather, and we had to stop. Made the reservation basically in the parking lot so when we showed up, the online transaction was not entirely processed. It was 11 pm, and the manager was doing his end of day walk around. The desk wasnt quite sure how to process the reservation without all the info, so the manager said, "just get them in their room, they're tired. We'll figure it out after they leave the front desk." So nice. Breakfast was standard, waffles, bagels, oatmeal, cereal, fruit. No complaints there. Comfortable beds and pillows, quiet room, with close parking. Dropbox for the keycard by the exit.

The New Victorian Inn in Norfolk is a very nice hotel. My husband and I stayed just one night, but everything was just perfect. We booked a room with two queen beds, but the last one had actually been given to someone just prior to our booking through Expedia, so we were upgraded to the Executive Suite (Room 241), which has a king bed and two queen beds in it. It had a spacious bathroom and a small kitchenette wall a sink, microwave, and small freezer/refrigerator combo. There was also a small table with two chairs and a dresser with a large screen television mounted on the wall above it. The room was very clean. I loved the laminated wood floors throughput the room. Because this room sleeps at least six people, there were plenty of nice, thick, towels stocked in the bathroom. The bathroom had a nice tub/shower combination that was very clean. The bathroom sink was just outside the bathroom. A free breakfast was included, available from 5 -10 am. The breakfast options were great. There's a waffle station w/ two waffle irons, a pancake machine that I loved because all you had to do was push the "OK" button andthe machine did the rest. No need to pour in batter yourself. It cooks two small pancakes per set and drops them right on your plate. Other options were biscuits and gravy, bagels, toast, muffins, cereal, etc Coffee, Milk & O.J. The Staff was very helpful and friendly.

My room was very clean. However for $122, and in Norfolk I thought breakfast would have more options that would include for people who are diabetic or keto. I shouldn’t assume. I was also woken up by very loud people, rustling around. I thought it was a fight. Turns out they were in the room next door leaving at 530am. I would not recommend and had I known Norfolk offered much more than what I saw on the wedding website, I would’ve stayed somewhere else.

Happy and comfortable!

The lady at the front desk heard me talking with my mom about trying to book one of the suites to the hotel but when I went to checkout it would tell me the room was unavailable, even though it showed available online. She asked what room I had wanted to book, I told her which one and she looked on her computer and saw that it was available and offered us the upgrade for free. We were very surprised and incredibly thankful! The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, a new shower had been installed in the room and it was very fancy! The couch could definitely use an update but, overall we were very happy with our stay! We stripped both beds, gathered all the towels and trash together in hopes of helping the cleaning staff!
