Always the Best in Norfolk

When traveling to the Norfolk/Virginia Beach this is my go to place to stay. Price ias always reasonable, even during the summer. I can always expect a quiet nights sleep. This property is not for those who wish to party all night.

Clean room, all amenities very quaint courtyard. For an older motel has nice upgrades in the rooms. Staff very friendly. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Awesome hotel

This place is a hidden gem. When I look for a hotel pools are not my motivation. This hotel has no pools or breakfast. What it does have is a nice, safe, clean, private and comfortable room. A great bed and a shower that I wish I had at home. Powerful and hot and awesome. The owner is a great guy who really cares about his hotel. We try to stay at this hotel whenever we are in Va Beach.

Pretty much directly at the beach. Nice retro feel to the hotel, staff was very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend if you’re staying in Norfolk and want to be close to the beach!

Small Inn! Big surprise! Nice place!

We had an amazing stay. It was very unexpected. It was a small inn. The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. It included a coffee pot with coffee and tea as well as cream sugar and stir sticks in a pack. Also a microwave that had plates and plastic wire with it and a small refrigerator with the freezer. We had a great stay and will definitely stay again.

This is the second time we've stayed at the Bay Inn and we will be back. The rooms/amenities are minimal, but clean and affordable, and it's right across Ocean View from the beach. It's a great spot to relax. Plus the owners are very friendly! The only (minor) issue was a slight chemical smell in the room.

The Bay Inn

The Bay Inn was perfect for what we were looking for. Beach access within a short walk of a block or so. The rooms are small and basic by today’s standards. This is an older motel that has been remodeled. Everything worked as we needed it though. It was a clean, pleasant place to spend the night.

Loved our stay

This was our second time staying here. We love that it's quiet and a super short walk to the bay. The room is new and looks very clean. Just a nice, pleasant place to unwind and have a quiet time of rest.
