Other than being ignored at the bar my first day while waiting on my room and not having a microwave in my suite ( which I didn’t quite understand ). My stay was excellent and I’ll definitely be booking at the palm tree club anytime and every time I’m in Miami. Thanks again to the wonderful staff and see you guys/gals again soon.🙂

Look at it in person first.

When I got there the confirmed hotel room that I had with a balcony was not available, they put me in another room. That was the reason I booked the hotel in the first place to have a balcony room they adjusted the price. The restaurant said it was open breakfast lunch and dinner, but it was not open for breakfast and the parking is very weird. I had to park on the backside of the other Hotel wing and walk through the entire complex to get to my room and two of the nights, the lights in the parking lot did not work.

My stay at this hotel was very disappointing. I could not reach anyone on the phone, no matter how many times I called the front desk or housekeeping. I requested housekeeping three times, and no one ever showed up. On top of that, the room key was a constant issue—it stopped working every time we came back from outside, and we had to go downstairs to reactivate it. This happened every 5 to 6 hours, which was incredibly frustrating and inconvenient.

Palm tree club was nice for a visit , however I have a feeling they treat reservations booked through Expedia differently than those who may have booked thru them. We bought what was listed as a bay view deluxe king room , ended up with an extremely tiny room across from the ice machine and a balcony over the parking lot with a small view of the ocean. The pool did not have towels most of the time, when people would ask staff , staff would get annoyed and say something like well you don't see any do you? Interesting. We were also given joining rooms where we could hear everything that the other guests were doing. The bathroom is extremely small, no room to get ready.

I recently stayed at the Hotel Palm Tree Club Miami, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The hotel has potential, but the poor customer service really left a bad impression. One of the staff members was rude, and after I checked out, I discovered there was an extra charge that had never been mentioned… that was unacceptable. When we arrived, the room was dirty. The floor hadn’t been cleaned, and the balcony was already broken. Later during our stay, there was a power outage, and the hotel didn’t offer any kind of compensation for the inconvenience. At the start of our stay, we were told that breakfast wasn’t included, even though we had paid for a package that did include it. On top of that, customer service lied to us, saying they had called our room to inform us, when in fact they hadn’t. There were just too many lies and a serious lack of professionalism.

The hotel isn’t super clean and some things are a bit worn down. It definitely looks better in photos than in person. That said, the location is pretty good—but keep in mind you’ll need a car. If you’re hoping for a more walkable experience, you’re better off staying in Miami or Miami Beach. For the price, it’s decent, just don’t expect too much. It’s a good spot to sleep and go, especially if you’re only in town for a short trip.
