This place is good property wise but excellent in service, responsiveness and friendliness of the staff. Between the staff and its very convenient location to both the highway system and the airport this place is a real winner.

This place was a little cleaner then the other hotel I left. Being it was a last minute booking and i was tired, it did its job. Cleanliness was ok, first room given the door was open and smelled of sewer, went down stairs to get another room and this one was ok, there was a bag over the smoke detector and a spider in the corner, bed was old but i have back problems so i don't sleep well, i called the Front desk and let them know. I am a Dual GM of 2 hotels so I understand issues with rooms, again better than the Ramada i originally booked. Didn’t stay for breakfast so don't know how that was, but overall the hotel did its purpose.

Stay away unless you can’t afford anything else. The property is run down. The staff were a joke. It wasn’t very clean. Hairs on the bed, towels missing, tub calking atrocious. Very small breakfast area.

When I went to the front desk to check in, no one was there and two others were waiting to check in as well. After waiting some ten minutes, and after two others came to check in, someone finally came to the front desk. Apparently, they were short cleaning staff and she had to help. If I hadn’t already paid for my room, I would have walked out

Toilet was left unflushed although seemed clean. There was only 1 towel. There were no washcloths, just one towel. The refrigerator was not cleaned. There was a grape juice that leaked all over the inside and maintenance had to come and clean the refrigerator after I had checked in. The Waffle iron for breakfast did not seem clean and no one had used it prior to me that day.

Dirty and smelly. I don't know how this hotel got an 8 rating. I didn't want to touch anything. Luckily I had alcohol wipes for the surfaces. Couldn't do anything about the smells or the stained towels and furniture.

Likely short-staffed. No one at the front desk and Waited for 10 minutes before checking in. There was no towel in the room and I had to request. Waffle machine did not work. Water dispenser broke. Quite dirty on the stairs.

I booked this for my wife and teen daughter who were making a visit to Amherst to see our older daughter. They had a late flight and I wanted to put them near the airport for convenience. Got the message below from my wife, very alarming given the positive reviews on Expedia. Not sure I will trust Expedia reviews or really trust Comfort Inns in general. "Appreciate the thought of being somewhat close to the airport but next time I’ll drive to Hadley at any time or write this one down as not good. Odd area. Had to park across a big busy street and cross in the dark. Guy outside on his phone threatening someone for money. Two women get dropped off in front of hotel then in the elevator with us obviously high on something. Almost midnight and can hear lots of talking. Be out of here soon. Yay."
