There is a sports bar/restaurant on site with pool tables, slot machines, & the food was good. the room is large & beds comfortable. Breakfast was good & they weren't rushing to put it away the moment the clock struck 9. Staff was friendly & helpful. Nice pool but the hot tub isnt working unfortunately however, we were informed before we got there & given the opportunity to cancel our reservation which was really nice. The room seemed to have an issue with the heater malfunctioning but kept us warm enough & the bathroom floor had some water coming up from underneath the floor tiles. Minor inconveniences really. I really enjoyed my stay & would recommend it to other travelers.

The hotel was obviously remodeled at some point. Still tacky. No elevators, Hot Tub was not available, The A/C in our room wasn't working, no outside windows to cool the room off. The Maintenance guy knocked and walked in our room in the morning and argued with me then came back to yell at us after we called the front desk complaining. He stated that "there isn't supposed to be anybody in this room". Tried to get the manager to call us back and no response. No apology ever. It was made out to be our fault this happened. I don't recommend staying at this hotel ever.

When we got here they didn’t have the room we booked. We book a two queen sweet that slept 5. All they had was a king sweet that slept 3.

Could be so much better of a place.

Need much needed maintenance update. We had to switch rooms due to leak in the bottom hotel room from our toilet room had a stale smell of smoke and when arrival did not have a room available from the one that we reserved gave us one that smelled and told us it had a smell.

Well, you get what you pay for and $75 is not much. So be prepared to get $75's worth of comfort. The room we were placed in with my 9 year old was outside and it was a particular cold, snow and windy weekend. The hotel was not busy at all so why not give us a room imside the hotel? The builing and rooms are old and not upkept. Meaning, holes in floors, tears in carpets that are not fixed. The bedding had orange stains on it and the curtains were falling off from the rail. The central heating system made a loud noise every so often that sounded like ot was on its last. Breakfast, no bread for toast and no waffle mix. Asked the front desk to get more waffle mix and he had to go look for kitchen staff. Came back around 10 minutes later and told us they are out of waffle mix and that the guy went out to buy more but then he will only be back past breakfast time. Overall look of the hotel is really bad.

There are better places to stay

We arrived at the hotel, appeared rundown and dirty. Stains on the couches, water stains on the ceiling The hot tub wasn’t working and didn’t get the requested room because there was a boiler issue on that side of the building and had no hot water The room was no better There were stains on the sheets and one bed, dirt and dust on the other, the security bar was broken on the door from someone trying to break in and wasn’t replaced. But the TV could stream Netflix so I guess that’s good

What Happened?

I've stayed at this hotel several times, and it's always been clean and comfortable. This time was different. I arrived late after a long day on the road. The front desk clerk told me that the king room I reserved was unavailable, and that she was going to "upgrade" me to a double queen room. She explained that it was an upgrade because I was getting two beds instead of one. I went to the room and found that the refrigerator, while functional, was very wobbly and had duct tape in place of one of the door racks. Worse, I found some small jumping insects in the bed. I returned to the front desk and they said they just realized they had a king room open. A different clerk went and checked it out, and he assured me that it was in order. I went and found that it had hair in the shower and on the sink, concerning stains on the bedding, and stains in the refrigerator. Since it was almost midnight, I cleaned the shower and sink myself and took a shower. When I walked to the bed, I found hair (not mine) and dirt stuck to the bottoms of my feet. The day I left, I noticed that the sink did not drain and the toilet did not flush. Shortly after, I found sewage in the shower. I reported it to the clerk, and she shrugged and said someone was working on the plumbing. I don't know if this hotel has new management or staff turnover, but it is much different than it used to be. I'm glad I didn't bring my mother on this trip! Also note breakfast is only open from 6:30 to 9:30.
