Check in was backed up due to new software system & only 1 employee working the desk. Got to our room and was hanging a shirt on the clothing rack mounted to the wall when it suddenly came crashing down on my arm. The only response from management was they were sorry. We had nowhere to hang any clothing. The thermostat was hard to work & the unit switched back & forth from heat to air conditioning with no rhyme or reason. The refrigerator made a loud noise which we had to drown out with white noise so we could sleep. Also there were only 2 electrical outlets & both were next to each other by one nightstand. Nothing by the other nightstand and the other outlets in the room had appliances plugged in & weren’t accessible. The toilet was so low it belonged in an elementary school bathroom. On the positive side the mattress was comfortable and the location was convenient/within a short walking distance to the First Summit Arena. We will not be returning to Red Roof anytime soon.

Room smelled of fried foods initially then later a more musty smell. Very small room, had large dog crate that hardly fit without blocking the door. Problems finding a parking spot repeatedly. Unable to get a cup of decaffeinated coffee. Impolite/disinterested staff, although the manager was excellent. I guess you get what you pay for.

The bed was comfy and the sheets were soft, but for me, the pillows were way too fat and firm. The room has been refurbished at some point, but was dirty and smelled of cigarette smoke. I found a plastic cup of water with spent cigarettes in it shoved to the back of the night table shelf. Gross. Housekeeping was definitely lacking. Some of the staff was friendly, and some was just indifferent.
The room was clean and the staff was friendly and professional.
During the daytime, there was ample parking. On Saturday night, the parking was limited.
The building and rooms were clean. When we check in, we were not told that the aid condition controls were on the wall and after staying the first night we did not get clean towels second day. when we question the second day about the towels, we were told that we had to ask for them. I don't stay a lot in hotels or motels but i had always gotten fresh towels without asking for them. It seems like the Red Roof Inn was a place for social services needs which i understand that is how you pay your bills. I believe that staff should recognize temporary guests and permeant guests. On the third day when we came back to the Inn our beds were made, and fresh towels were there. Staff was polite and the place was okay.
