This hotel is just off of 94 and is safe, quiet and is a good midpoint between Chicago and the Twin Cities. I have stayed multiple times and each time it has been a pleasant experience.

The room was absolutely spotless. Perhaps the cleanest hotel/motel room I have ever stayed in. Staff was both friendly and courteous. They took the time to tell us about the excellent breakfast. All this while the temperature outside was near zero. Thanks Microtel Tomah.

The hotel was clean, quiant, and welcoming. The staff was nice and accommodating. Initially, I didn't have the correct remote to control my TV, but the young man on duty that evening went out of his way to locate one for me. He also was kind enough to provide extra towels when I requested them. The breakfast could use some work. More hot food options would be nice but hey, it was free. I'd stay here again if I'm ever in the area and need a room.
