The hotel and staff were very nice. It was clean and updated. My only complaint is after booking on expedia they were charging more taxes when we arrived they need to straighten this out. Celine was great and helped us because of that i would definitely stay again. Pool was small but nice needs more lounge chairs. Good snacks. No closet in room.

The check-in process took approximately an hour. Upon reaching our rooms, we discovered that the air conditioning was not functioning correctly, and it was quite warm outside. Furthermore, the towels appeared to be less than clean, and the overall sanitation of the room was questionable. The stove provided also had some issues. The only positive aspect of this hotel was its location. Pics are a bit deceiving. Friendly house keepers and staff.

People in office were awesome and friendly only issue was some of the doors knobs was broken and toilet had plumbing issues. Rooms could use an update plus it was charge an extra 60.00 for fees and tax lady sd it was not added to hotel.com

Internet and parking space was non-existent

Not ADA compliant at all, which hotels.com messed up by including the icon. No internet but 3 different reasons why not and no offer of a refund, and the parking lot was Tiny. The room was nice and the pool was clean, staff was friendly, but between hotels.com mis-listing things and the lack of internet leading to Nightly Temper Tantrums because the TV is useless without internet I can't give it a higher rating.

⭐ 1 out of 5 Absolutely Horrible – Do Not Stay Here This hotel was nothing like the pictures online—complete clickbait. The room was dirty, outdated, and looked nothing like what was advertised. The area felt extremely unsafe, especially at night. We had multiple people try to open our room door throughout the night, which was terrifying and made us feel completely unsafe.

Enjoyed our Stay!

I stayed at the Burgundy Inn for 2 nights with two other friends, and overall, we enjoyed our stay. There is room for improvement, but we were satisfied especially with the low price during the height of Summer. It’s location is great too — just a few minutes walk to the beach. The rooms could use some touch-ups, especially the bathroom, but it was clean, no bugs, and AC worked very well. There’s no shampoo/conditioner, body soap, or tissues provided but I didn’t expect any frills since it is a motel. The TV unfortunately was very difficult to work and kept cutting out but wasn’t a huge deal for us. We were a little disappointed that the Tiki Bar didn’t serve alcohol but they had a handful of snack and ice cream options and the woman who worked there was very nice. The pool area is quite small but it’s cute and cozy and still has many tables and chairs. The main woman at the front desk (I can’t believe I didn’t get her name) was very kind and accommodating. She offered us extra towels and linens when we checked in and didn’t hesitate to swap out our minifridge later that day because it wasn’t getting cold. Overall, this is definitely a no-frills place but they had great service and kind staff, clean rooms, and it’s a great option if you’re just looking for a cheap place to sleep and shower.

This place was a gem. Staff was a 10/10. EVERYONE was so kind to us during our stay for my son’s birthday. Great location, 5 minute walk to the beach/boardwalk, made it super easy with 3 kids. We plan to come back here for all of our OCMD trips. Thank you Burgundy for a great week!!

Poor service

This was one of the worst places I have ever stayed. I arrived at 3:00 PM for check-in, but my room was not ready. I took my family out for a meal and returned at 3:45, only to find that my room was still not prepared. I was finally checked in at 4:00 PM. The carpets in both rooms need to be replaced, as they are sticky and unpleasant to walk on. Additionally, there were no curtains to block the sunlight, and the bathtub's water valve is extremely old; it's difficult to tell which side is hot or cold, and it feels very loose. Furthermore, the swimming pool is located across the road from the office. To get to the pool, you have to walk all the way to the traffic light and cross the street. Overall, the entire complex is in dire need of renovation.

I liked the proximity to the beach and the lower than other options for cost. I didn't like not having soap and shampoo in the bathroom or coffee supplies to make coffee. I liked the cleanliness and the very friendly staff and the free coffee and donuts.
