The property was found as advertised. The only hiccup was the elevator stopped working for a few hours and the haul up the stairs is difficult for elderly folks.

We had a great experience at this hotel. Booking was easy; checking in, even easier. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We had a nice ocean view with two queen beds and it was perfect. The scenery is stunning with direct access to the beach right from the back of the hotel and pool area. The continental breakfast offered wonderful options including juices, coffee, tea, milk, pastries, yogurt, fruit cups, bagels with waffle makers. The one suggestion I have is that without offering umbrellas and/or lounge chairs for the beach, it would have been better had we known to reserve one prior to arriving. Without access to available umbrellas or lounge chairs, it definitely cut our time from enjoying the beach as we also had our three year old with us. Staff were extremely friendly! We would definitely book here again!

Nice place to stay

We were only there for two days, but the room was clean, the staff was friendly and helpful. Unlike some other places, the walk to the beach was short and easy. It did say on the website that there was a bar by the pool, and we saw the building, but it was not open while we were there. Just would have been nice to have notice it was not available. But, that is not going to keep us from coming back since I have already booked for a weekend in August.

We just stayed there the week of july 4 and overall great experience.Within walking distance of everything you could possibly need or want. The park, arcade, shops, pier and ice cream was awesome!! The ocean BEAUTIFUL, along w the views from where we were. However, if u stay, you want a ocean view, close to the pools, as many buildings there actually are, add ons would be a definite, pools and bar AWAY from the pool, that was the main negative the bar is right by the outside pool, to close, and the pools stayed packed w the same ppl noone else could hardly partake. However it was very quiet considering how many ppl were there, parking needs to have an all stay parking spot, we would leave then come back and not have nowhere to park... So parking needs to have parking slots that are your designated parking spot or spots for a group . And brooms in the rooms!!!! Other than that totally worth the money.... Oh and free breakfast helps but not being able to bring food in your rooms when the kitchen is packed, not cool!!!! I will say ocean isle has rules like no other beach I have ever been to, dont spend or waste any money on any type of shelter but a shaboomy or umbrella bc nothing else is allowed...very picky choosy who they say anything to as well, which is not cool..if your going to have rules, it should be posted on their website and for everyone!!!! Need to be staying somewhere w beach access, if not pay to park and hardly anywhere to park due to all the developments!!!
