First time I stayed at this hotel and I was surprised at how well it was maintained. I visit Blackhawk/ central city once or twice a month and I usually stay in the Blackhawk part. I decided to try the century for a change and I am glad I did. The staff was awesome and my room was shocking I must say. It was extremely clean and well furnished. I had high ceilings with windows that went almost floor to ceiling and over looked one of the main streets. Very historic feel in a great way. It is well preserved which is one of the reasons it is now one of my top choices for the area. I am disabled with limited mobility and if I would have had to navigate this alone it might have been a bit of a challenge but I asked at the desk for a bellmans cart to help bring in my bag and they insisted that a staff member assist me which was very much appreciated. I did not spend much time in the casino on this visit as I was meeting friends at another location the casino was also clean and had the same historic feel in a good way. I really can not find anything negative to say about this property. The owners, management and staff obviously care a lot about this property and it shows.

The young lady at the check in desk was very welcoming and helpful. The bartenders are all very courteous and the service is great. It's a nice property and easy to get around. You can walk to several other casinos if you want a change of pace but this one is big and has everything you need. You can walk to Lady Luck Casino without going outside if you want to see more gaming options. There is only one desk chair to sit on in the room so you don't really hang out in there but the beds are clean and comfortable. The TV is good quality. Be nice to have more than four hangers in the closet but no big deal. There is a fridge, microwave, and Keurig with 2 free cups in the room. Two free bottle of water too, you can easily get more at the bars. It's a Caesar's property so bring your rewards card. The food at Brews Brothers is great for casual dining. The free wifi has good signal strength. The free parking garage had plenty of room, it was easy to park close to the elevator entrance.
