When we arrived I was told I had already checked in. I prepaid for the room and someone else was allowed to check in using my reservation. I showed my ID, credit card, and Expedia confirmation to the front desk agent but she wouldn’t even look at them. Then called the room asking me to come back down twice in order to get more information from me. Awful service, no apology.

Absolutely fantastic staff and nice older hotel. The only complaint is that pets are allowed and our room smelt like a wet dog. Other than that everything was great. I can not stress enough how friendly and accommodating the staff is. They really make this hotel.

Room smelled musty due to shower curtain. Reported and they had it switched immediately. Bathroom could have been cleaner, i.e., floor, sink overflow nasty. Fridge and air/heating unit noisy Definitely could use some upgrades such as carpeting, window shades. Pillows were lumpy. Breakfast was adequate.

Convenient location, but they should put the doors on the outside and call it a Motel. It's dirty, dark, and service is horrible. The mattress was sunk in towards the top so it was uncomfortable, the door handle was falling off the bathroom door, bathroom floor looked dirty, base of toilet was certainly dirty and there's a bunch of messy caulking all around it. Looks like there are problems in the ceiling patches of it are falling off. Oddly enough for three days they came in only to stick the shower curtain behind the handicap bar and nothing else, not once did they dump the garbage, vacuum, make a bed, or anything else. I'm not sure what their obsession with that curtain was, but it takes two seconds to dump the trash and one second to notice we were using a hand towel as a bath mat because we didn't have one.

The hotel was ok, however, the toilet lid looked like it had been bought from an old abandon wear house. It was faded yellow and disgusting. I had them put me in another room, same disgusting situation. Nerver going back ever.

This was a quick stay while pasding through. I lived in JC years ago so I know the town well and this is probably the best area to stay. Its close to the highway, walmart, dollar tree and several restaurants (sit down and fast food). Everything was clean, breakfast was good. I would stay again.
