Was labeled as non refundable on expedia upon arriving and checking we were told there ac was out and that they weren't going to ve able to get it working but we were more then welcome to go to another motel or hotel around there. This was after pulling up our reservations and seeing it was non refundable.

This place was disgusting and we will never consider staying again. We noticed we had blood on our bedding that soaked through the comforter and 3 sheets. We called the front desk for new ones as we know accidents can happen but it was still unsanitary. The receptionist told us we could come downstairs to get new ones, she gave us a trash bag to bag up the bloody bedding ourselves. We went upstairs to make out bed and realized she gave us a comforter with an even bigger blood stain!! She refused to give us a refund and argued that there was no blood anywhere and tried to say we lied about having pictures. DO NOT STAY HERE!

The worst stay of my life. They actually do not have AC as advertised so I had to sleep with a sliding glass door open, which was over a drug alley. Silverfish bugs in my room. Broken lamps. Holes in the tub with shower curtain torn off. Crud wiped on the walls. And had to wait 20 minutes to get a bucket of ice from the front desk. Angry I paid money for this!

Breakfast was nice- fruit! Elevator was bright - pleasant. Desk attendant was very pleasant & responsive & gave us a new room as toilet clapper & seat was broken, tub with open drain, tub hugely peeling, sink faucet totally loose from sink #416. The next room was missing the sink drain apparatus & the sliding door was hard to move but all the rest was in working order. (There was a sock & pair of underwear on the roof which our room was attached to. The rooms provided hearty laughter there was so absurb.

I liked the proximity to downtown and the view of lake. Price was cheap, you get what you pay for. Property was shabby, safe not working, exhaust fan in bathroom not working, had to ask for clean towels next day, given towel that was threads. Trash can dirty/smelly under liner. Other quests car broken into in underground parking, homeless mental patients roam the streets, don’t go out at night. Bed was comfy.

The rooms and bathroom are decrepit and disgusting. I discovered bedbugs on the bed shortly after arriving and immediately requested a room change. However, the situation was unacceptable, and I checked out within a few hours.

This is a very outdated hotel.We moved to 2 different rooms and they all.had issues. Water running, sliding door was wide open and wouldn't shut, curtains ripped. The carpet is filthy, mold in the shower. Area around hotel is sketchy. I didn't feel my car was safe in the parking garage. We would not recommend staying here.

I should have read the reviews. All the bad was still there: no AC, really ugly bathtub with what looked like mold but i guess it was delaminated fiberglass and attempted touch up paint. Room with two queen beds, allegedly “premium” only had one set of towels in the bathroom. Asking for more like pulling teeth. Eventually got two bathmats and two more washcloths. Ever dry yourself with a bathmat sized “towel”? Had to sleep with sliding “balcony” door open for air and we were on the street side. Knob missing on lamp so had to unscrew the bulb to turn it off. No hot options for breakfast, no hot water for tea or instant oatmeal. Asked for some but it never appeared. The cold cereal dispenser barely worked. The guy after me shook it and pounded it on the counter. Don’t know if he got any. Overall I would not recommend this property. Apparently the renovations seem to be an excuse for the property barely being “maintained”. And how hard is it to have enough towels for guests? I should have known it was going to be bad when i walked in and was informed that i had no reservation in their system. I even showed my hotels.com confirmation and receipt for payment. Finally he said oh here it is under Expedia. Seriously? Description needs to be seriously changed to the real situation here. No AC or towels! And the door to the parking lot is propped open; i guess in case it rains the homeless guy by the lot entrance can get in out of the rain.

They're trying, but it's rough

This hotel is in terrible shape. Staff are friendly and it's clear they are trying to turn things around, but we left after the first night and thankfully they refunded us for the 2nd. Location is great, very walkable to things, but many things were not up to a 3 star standard. We are a family of 5 so we booked two adjoining suites. They were not able to accommodate that upon check-in so we were on the 5th and 7th floors instead. The bathtub in both rooms had cracked and missing enamel, both drains had massive lime scale, and one faucet wouldn't turn off. The other tub had a dirty footprint on the edge (so clearly it hadn't been cleaned). The AC didn't work so the rooms were HOT. Both rooms were supposed to have a couch with a pull out bed, but neither did, so one kid had to sleep on the floor because there wasn't room in the bed for 3 people. Do not recommend unless you are in urgent need of a place to lie down for the night.

The A/C didn't work so the room was SO stuffy!!! Couldn't sleep. The bathroom shower/tub was literally falling apart! The whole place had a horrible smell through out it. Surrounding area was super sketch, definitely don't walk anywhere after dark.
