The room set up is pretty cool, especially for the price point. This could be a fun place in the summer. The downsides are the shower is very tall and skinny and its awkward. Also, when we arrived and pulled out the pull out beds, the bed liners were dirty and covered in food crumbs. We asked the staff for new covers as we had removed them from the beds and while they did give us new ones, the came in and started picking up various things that were out of place or not done - commenting on the feedback they would give to the other person who cleans. She went as far as to grab a vacuum and started vacuuming the couch. It was a bit awkward just in the fact we were ready for some down time and it felt like we had no privacy. Aside from that, the bed situation made us feeling cautious overall if things were infact cleaned properly. Overall, its not a bad place, but not likely somewhere we would be jumping at to stay again.

Dog friendly, kind of…

Great atmosphere. Dog friendly but also very restrictive. Thought we would be able to leave our well behaved dog in the room while we went out for dinner but there is a $100 fine for that, it was raining so hard to find a spot to eat at that have covered outdoor space with a pet. We only stayed one night so it was fine but would have probably stayed else where if we knew all the details that came with having a dog. Also only grassy spot in common area is not for dogs so we had to walk off to a muddy away from the property.

The property is very old but well taken care of. It's a very different from regular hotel. It's like you've stepped back in to the 1930's. So many unique things to see on the walls and other areas of the property. It's wooded so it gives you the felling of rustic. Out back they have like a mini golf course only using a mallet and ball. Fun. Very dog friendly. You can walk to the beach but it's a pretty long walk.

Girls weekend getaway

The state room was very clean. The sofa bed was not comfortable so I would not use it to sleep on. They had alot of amenities, coffee, extra towels, ear plugs, water, smore fixins and more. The pizza was excellant! Will definitely be returning.

This place was AWESOME! So unique and fun. The ammities were amazing! The s'more kit was a big hit with our kids. Very dog friendly. And, seriously a 7 minute walk to the beach. The 2 people working in the pizza pub were the nicest people, the pizza was awesome. If we find our way back to Jackson Cuty, we will definitely stop here. It's just the cutest rustic little cabins around.

Fantastic atmosphere, vintage charm, convenient. Only a small issue- there was a family with toddlers in the room above ours and the kiddos were having a fantastic time running and yelling. It made it difficult to enjoy sleeping in. Next time I would book a cabin to resolve.
