Parking fee is ridiculous and potentially a scam

The parking fee is a bit of a scam. First of all, this is not a part of town where parking is limited. Second, the third-party that collects the parking charge mistakenly charged me over 450 times, leading to an over $13,000 bill the next morning. While the hotel staff was incredibly helpful in discovering and resolving this, I still had to deal with this charge, including communication with my card for fraud, over the next several days.

Value and compassion

I was on my own for a work related class and testing. I was in and out of the room at night and studying at all hours. The staff was so accommodating and caring. I really would like to point out the late night man who helped me tremendously. He said he is a massage therapist as well. He helped me with a simple exercise to help me with my anxiety. Top notch! A Homerun!

Called a few weeks prior to be added to early check in as my flight was changed to arrive much earlier. They said they would accommodate and me to early check in. I arrive around noon and was told that they can’t honor my early check in. While being inconvenient, it was okay. I was told I can check in at 4. I come back at 445 to check in, the lady starts to check me in and said there was an issue with my reservation and disappeared for about 15 minutes. Another employee eventually comes over and is confused to why there’s an issue. A few minutes pass and she comes back out and says the room will be a few more minutes. Wait about ten more minutes and i finally get to my room. So my early check in was an hour longer than the 4pm new check in time. It was 72 degrees in my room so I set it to 68 and left for the evening. Get back around 230 in the morning and it’s still 72. Wanted to take a shower and had the water running for 5 minutes and the water is very cold and didn’t heat up at all so I go to bed. Wake up at 630 to someone yelling and then what sounded like cleaning outside. Try to take a shower and wait almost ten minutes and the water was still cold. The room was still warm. I get the feeling that the staff knew there was an issue with room or that it wasn’t cleaned or whatever. The bathroom had some pubic hairs on the toilet. The shower looked used and hardly cleaned I voiced my concerns and checked out. It was a very frustrating experience.

First impressions matters

The initial experience upon arrival was disappointing, as the front desk clerk was unfriendly and the hotel itself appeared to be in dire need of renovation. Additionally, I felt uneasy due to the presence of a homeless individual lingering outside the entrance for several hours, which raised concerns for both my personal safety and the security of my vehicle. The conditions in the hallway and the ice room were uncomfortably hot, further detracting from my stay. Given these factors, I do not intend to return to this location in the future.

Clean Updated facility

Nice staff, clean room, modern facility, even the hallways look nice. Great place for a quick overnight off Rt 4. Cant beat the price too. Why they charge for parking in this offsite facility is baffling however. We booked it on a 3rd party site and the parking was $6 vrs $20+
