I’m honestly torn. This property is absolutely beautiful—spacious, stylish, and overall very impressive. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is plentiful (though you’ll need to wake up early or risk missing out). One great perk: the room had a full-size refrigerator, not just a mini one, which was a nice surprise.
But despite all of that, I just can’t give this place five stars.
The biggest issue was the pool. It was freezing—easily around 65 degrees. My daughter and I braved it once, but it was so cold we couldn’t enjoy it. Two days later, I came down with a nasty cold and sore throat. The hotel information sheet says the pool is heated. It absolutely is not. I even brought it up at the front desk—they acted concerned and said they’d call maintenance, but nothing changed.
Housekeeping was also a letdown. They made the bed and that was it. I had to request towels that housekeeping took out.
To top things off, when we returned from Disney one night, the toilet was clogged. It turns out someone (either the previous guests or staff) had flushed leftover soap bars down it. Maintenance tried to fix it, but it never worked properly again.
There were a few positives: the 24/7 hallway coffee station is a great touch, and again, the staff was kind.
But between getting sick from the freezing pool, the unresolved maintenance issues, and the ridiculous parking fees (on property they already own!), I just can’t justify a five-star review.
