Windsor Hills | 3bd | Resort

For a home from home feeling, this wonderful Windsor Hills vacation house has all you need. This gated community has been long regarded as a top destination in the Disney area, being just 5 miles away is therefore suitable for Uber/Lyft or rideshare.
All 3 bedrooms are masters, and the house is spacious throughout. The property has its very own private splash pool for a welcome cool off in the Florida heat, or you can take advantage of the great facilities within the Windsor Hills community. The clubhouse facilities consists of a large communal pool with separate pool with water slides and children's splash area and poolside bar, games room, gym and small convenience store. There is also a children's outdoor play area. Access to the clubhouse and its facilities is via a wristband which are available at the Welcome Center located within the Clubhouse. All members of your group will be asked for their names including under 18s in advance so we can provide the details to the resort so all can access the facilities.
There is a dedicated car parking pad with an additional two vehicles allowed. If you have more than one vehicle, there is additional parking at the end of the block for any additional or oversized vehicles.
Please note that younger members of your group will be requested to provide ID for the purchase of alcohol, and remember the age for this within Florida is 21.#
The clubhouse is an 8 minutes or less walk away should you wish to visit and leave your car.

Check in was very easy and efficient, a few minor issues with property, but were resolved in a timely manner. Loved the comfort and pool at condo was great for the kids. The large pool area and activities at clubhouse were fantastic. Loved amenities at pool and great activities for kids. Lunch and drink bar were great ! Convenient for all possible stores and restaurants. Not far from Disney Springs or Disney Parks. Beautiful Area and CLEAN!

The resort had plenty of things happening for the 4th of July and so convention everything. The unit was adequate but could use a little TLC - the upstairs was wonderful the main level was a bit tired looking

Check-in information was said to be furnished 3 days before my stay. Checking was at 4 but didn’t receive my checking information until 430. Check-in information should be furnished to the renters well before checking time to avoid any anxiety not after the check-in time. I should have to send multiple emails/texts to get the information. The residents was nice and the resort was great

We stayed here at the end of May 25 and in the main, we had a lovely stay. Windsor Hills is a fantastic complex in a brilliant location with great facilities but beware, the prices in the onsite shop for essentials were really expensive so recommend you go to the Walmart 2 minutes away. The food from the snack bar was good though and reasonably priced. The townhouse had pretty much all we needed (lots of extra towels etc) and is spacious and comfortable. We had an issue the night we arrived with water leaking though the ceiling but this was rectified quickly with no further issues. Kevin is very responsive and a good bloke! The only slight negative is the standard of cleaning, particularly in the pool area, could have been better. The pool itself is clean but the walk areas around it are full of weeds growing up between the flooring and the chairs were in need of a scrub - we actually only went out there once in our whole trip when the children had an hour in the pool after visiting the parks. All the bathrooms were spotless which was great and overall the rooms were generally clean however, for example, in the downstairs bedroom there were marks that looked like food or blood on a couple of walls and the floors could have done with an additional brush/mop. Minor things which is a real shame as it let it down a bit however it did not spoil our enjoyment and overall the good outweighed the not so good

The house was very centrally located and close to all amenities. It was very clean and well equipped with everything we needed. Owner quickly responded to all questions and was a pleasure to deal with. We will definitely book with this owner again!

Great property for our 11 night stay!

We'd highly recommend this property and would definitely rent it again for our family vacation or friends trip. Since our family stayed 11 nights it was important to have all the bells and whistles...this home was it! We loved that it was well equipped, clean, and spacious. Everything my family needed was there or nearby (private pool & a community pool with food and drinks, a small gym, shopping districts, grocery & drug stores.) We were also within approximately 15 - 20 minutes from the Disney parks (depending on traffic).The description and amenities listed were accurate.And the owners communicated well with easy & clear instructions. Great experience.

The unit was very good. Kitchen supplies were adequate. We were very happy with the cleanliness. The first floor bed was a bit uncomfortable. There is a private pool but we didn't use it when we found out that it was 55 a day to heat the water. Enjoyed our stay

Loved that each room had its own bathroom. Spacious, plenty of pillows, blankets, towels, kitchen items. Splash pool area was small - as described though. Comfortable couch, living room with dining table, and kitchen counter with stools. My adult children and I each had our own rooms, and bathroom which was great. You can tell the owner is making an attempt to upgrade/modernize the space. It is mid-upgrade I'd say as there were things that still were outdated. The queen bed downstairs needs replacing, as you can feel the springs when laying on it. Towels also could use replacing, or attention to detail that they are getting worn. A towel that was hanging for use when we arrived had holes in them. Yes there was others in the closet that I grabbed, but not a great 1st impression. Handrail of the stairs was dirty, and could see visible dirt/wear from the downstairs bathroom across from it. Some attention to details like that could really help this place. Overall, we mainly used this for a place to sleep, and it was really close to Disney. The community was very nice, gated entry. If you are just looking for a place to sleep, and have a breakfast, this is fine for the price/location.

Everything was great! From the communication weeks before arrival, day of and even after we left. Clean property, about 12 minutes from Disney! VERY quiet neighborhood and would stay here again. Pool was nice, plenty room for my family of 5 and could have had at least 4 more people.

The best location, perfect for our stay

Firstly the location! Perfect for both Disney and Universal. You can use some back roads to avoid any jams when going in and out so it was about 15 minutes to Disney 20 to Universal. House - Great size, well-equipped, and perfect for a family of 5. Beds were really comfy and all a good size, showers powerful and warm. Good air con supplemented with room fans (It would trip when the tumble dryer was used, but Owners told us how to get it back on so no issues) Well-stocked kitchen really good sized fridge Pool - The pool is bigger than it looks and we were a bit worried at first, but it was fine and we had a great time in it. Well covered with the netting. The only odd thing was the weeds, not enough to really bother me, but felt like something that could easily have been sorted (I'm sure it would have been if I reported it.). Furniture was a bit of a mismatch, but again served it's purpose. Complex - Pool, slides, splash area, Shop, Bar, food etc. Definitely useful to have, and it was busy but there were always seats. We liked the tennis and basketball courts as well. The area was impeccably maintained as well. Gate - Again if you've not used a gated complex before then worth noting, it can be a right pain if got wrong. The guards were pleasant on arrival and that was the last we needed them! Scanned through, easily with no queues. Great communication by the owner as well. Highly recommended, and we'd definitely stay again.

Very relaxing vacation!

Family of 7 (parents, grandparents, 3 kids ages 6-18) and this house worked really well for us! Enough space for everyone. Loved the community pool area and the small private pool too. Quiet neighborhood, close to a lot of things. Beds were comfortable, plenty of pillows and towels. Lots of details about the house and neighborhood provided in a welcome binder. Loved that all the light switches are labeled and the WiFi password is available throughout the house. We did not visit the big parks but did get caught in a lot of that traffic so just plan extra time when going anywhere. Our biggest advice? Order your groceries for delivery!! Walmart is crazy busy all the time and you can save yourself a lot of stress by avoiding it 😀

Perfect Location

The house was ideal for our needs. 10 mins from Disney. Comfortable nights sleep after long days. The small pool was great for a quick cool down.The communal pool was fabulously clean with an area with slides for the children with lifeguards supervising. Lots of places to eat within 5 minutes drive. Easy check in process and great communication with the owner.

Great place to stay!

Great location and proximity to WDW. Close to Walmart and many restaurants. The splash pool was perfect for the grandkids, they also loved the water slides. Communication with host was excellent. Place was very clean. Grandkids said they prefer the townhome over a Disney hotel!

Clean and well equipped

It’s always a risk booking a vacation home sight unseen, but we were very pleased with our choice. Leading up to our stay, the property manager was easy to get ahold of and we had no reason to contact them throughout our stay, though I am certain we would have had no problem reaching them if we needed to. The kitchen had everything you needed to prepare meals, all we had to do was get the food and condiments. The pool was clean and quite refreshing after long days at the cheerleading competitions and Disney parks. Beds were comfortable, each bedroom had either its own bathroom (2 upstairs rooms) or a bathroom that could be accessed from the bedroom and the hallway (main floor). The washer and dryer worked great and was located on the top floor near 2 of the bedrooms. Would definitely recommend this property to another family or a group travelling together.

Cozy!

We were on a family vacation with four children, and this place was awesome! The host was very kind and made themselves available for questions, as this was our first time staying on a Vrbo site. We can’t wait to return! The grounds were also spectacular for the kids, as the pool had slides, and the clubhouse had several activities every day. Truly made our stay magical!

The listing is accurate. This is a well loved and used property. The property manager was very responsive with urgent needs( digital door lock battery replacement). Soundproofing could be better: plumbing noises from another unit were easily heard. If you are there in the Spring, your car will be covered in pollen and tree residue ( just FYI). Easily walkable area, not far from the Community center.

Unit Dirty and Needs Renovation

Refusing to provide checkin info until 4pm day of arrival was extremely stressful not knowing if we’d actually get it (was there an issue?) was causing anxiety with my group. My daughter who drove her own car was not added to the guest list even though I gave the host her info weeks earlier. The guard threatened to tow her car, but after a VM and a couple of messages the host got it fixed. The whole unit is in dire need of renovation. The furniture is wobbly, scratched up and on its last legs. The walls and baseboards are marked up, dirty & dusty; the light colored grout is black in most areas; the blinds are coated in thick dust; damaged lamp shades, thin beat up dirty area rugs. The downstairs bedroom was worst. The carpet is dirty and needs replacing. The furniture in there is terribly beat up and the there were dead bugs on the window sill due to damaged screens. There were empty bottles under the bed and the room had a funky smell. My daughter literally cried at the thought of staying in it and was going to use the pullout except that was filled with crumbs and no sheets. We bought carpet powder and vacuumed the bedroom and that helped, but vacuum canister wasn’t previously emptied…eww. There were scented plugins everywhere (I wonder why) but all were empty. We had to buy some. I informed host about bedroom, and he did NOTHING. Towels smelled bad and most were old thin beach towels. Only 5 real bath towels for the 6 of us. All of us wanted to leave the day we arrived.

Perfect Location for Disney vacations

10-15 minutes to each Disney park, Disney Springs, and other Orlando attractions. Walmart for last minute items is less than a mile away. Resort pool was perfect for a rest day after the parks. This is our 2nd Windsor Hills stay. This size home was perfect for our family of 5. We never felt like it was inconvenient getting to or from the parks.
