Overall, it was a cheap place to stay. Pet friendly which is nice. We did not feel safe on the ground floor though, the window opened enough for someone to get in on the ground level . HOWEVER, this hotel is in such bad condition that we can’t imagine

The walls were so thin I could clearly hear a noisy baby and the adults talking loudly next to me. The door had gaps all around it & desperately needs soundproof weatherstripping, I could hear all conversations in the hall + doors slamming all night/day. The bathroom and entrance hall had trash on the floor from the previous guests. The bathroom had small short black hairs stuck to the tub, walls, & counter, and smears on the mirror. (obviously not cleaned well). And, the bathroom had refillable bodywash/shampoo in the shower, and no lid on the toilet (completely unsanitary). The bed had very squeaky springs, keeping me from getting restful sleep. One wall had holes in it from something previously mounted on it. The lamps had a mix of soft white + daylight bulbs, which threw off the whole ambiance of the room. The AC unit was so loud it woke me up every time it kicked on. I went to find earplugs & they wanted to charge me $6! I mentioned some of my problems w/ the room, & the guy said 'well, I'll just charge you $2, and didn't address my other concerns. They should have just comped them. I was so exhausted from moving & still had more moving to do, I just wanted a couple nights of good sleep, but I didn't get them here. The 2nd night, after moving stuff all day, I just wanted to kick back & watch a movie, but I couldn't, because the poor internet connection kept making the movie freeze & skip. I will never come back nor recommend this place to anyone.

Wonderful staff, needs upsating

The staff was amazing!!! They listened to our concerns and made us comfortable, Overall, the condition of a hotel was OK, but there were numerous issues with the hotel overall conditions of the stairs, going to the pool, condition of the pool,. Unable to go into the hot tub due to excess chlorine, unable to stand it. First floor reeks of chlorine because the doors were left wide open and not being kept shut to the hot tub room. First floor ice machine looked like it has not been serviced in a millennia. Stairs going down to the pool had numerous sports that were painted over rotten wood. Outside of the building has seen better days. While the staff was very good to deal with, this hotel itself felt like it was a car that had been left out in a farm field it was way past it. Prime. It reminded me of the whole story of grand Budapest Hotel.

There will. Wvwr be a better door man chris. Ralph in bar is a talker and loves visiting wjtb folks from allnover the globe. Jen at front desk is amazi g and tries to accommodate everhthing. I been coming here for 20 years and never had a bad experience. The charaxter of the place is amazing. History is here.

The staff are very polite and but the resort as a whole needs to be renovated. The rooms are dirty, mattresses are old, smells like smoke in the rooms. I will say the breakfast is always amazing and the price is perfect. I do like that they allow dogs and the price per night is decent.

Jen desk, chris front door, ralph at restaurant make this place amazing. Ive came here for decades and Chris is the oldest and engrained into the place and the others are apart of it. Not a hilton but make you feel like your at the ritz

Not impressed, outdated, room had mildew smell

Check-in process was quick and front desk was friendly. Room smelled like mildew upon entering, was very cold and I think holding too much moisture. Bathroom was cleaned but not spotless. Looked like bathroom was very poorly constructed and possibly had mold. Pillows were awful, white top cover had a stain. Most of it looked outdated. I would not choose this place again, other options that were cheaper looked like they would’ve been comparable or better.
