Enjoyed a great stay, everywhere immaculately clean, fabulous experience in the onsen. Staff were attentive and very helpful especially Sato on reception desk. Breakfast has good choices, bed was comfortable and shower in room was terrific. Our only little grumble is the fact the lounge on top floor cannot be used unless you stay on one of the upper floors . Whilst that may be advertised it is not very clear, we would have been happy to pay for drinks etc to gain entry and experience the view.

Disappointing

The location was excellent and had a lovely view from the room. Decent sized room but room was dirty- splashes of something brown on the walls. Breakfast was a bit of a hassle as we had to queue until a table became free, both days. But the worst thing was the concierge telling our taxi driver the wrong airport location when he picked us up- a 13 min ride turned into a 45 min ride in the opposite direction. Wouldn’t stay here again.

The staff were excellent and accommodating. Nice amenities in the room. Free hotel shuttle to Osaka City Station a plus. Will look at other Mitsui Garden properties if/when returning to Japan.

Nice hotel, good value and service

Try nice hotel in a business area. Great onsen and nice rooms. Only two coin operated laundry machines, which wasn’t enough as they were impossible to find free. Also, air conditioning was very difficult to get right, and their “eco friendly” cleaning service also means, interestingly, that they don’t even make your bed. Good breakfast annd a good value overall. A very nice hotel.

Very nice but small room. We had a good view of the river. Nice breakfast and restaurant meals. A very Japanese experience. Front desk is very accommodating. Recommend highly.

Excellent

The Mitsui hotel chain is amazing . All of their locations are great. You're getting a Four seasons hotel experience (Staff, Venue, Locations) at a fraction of the price . This particular location was centrally located with access to anywhere in the city . Rooms, Bedding and mattress were all 10/10 as well as the ONSEN (which is great after exploring the city all day. I'd recommend this hotel and I cannot wait until my return next year.

Excellent location for business stay.

Great place for an extended business trip. Was here for 2 weeks. Room was a bit small, but that's normal for Osaka. The lounge was excellent, both for working and for relaxing in the evening. Restaurant was good too, though it was too crowded at breakfast. Hotel very handily placed, 5 mins walk from the metro.

We had a nice stay. Arrived exhausted and about a hour before check-in time and asked if our room was ready. We were told "no". Someone who spoke decent English came out and said if we paid an extra 4000 yen we could check-in early. It turned out that our room was ready but they misled us so that we would pay extra -- a nasty customer service model. I would be a much happier customer and spread the word to others if they had considered the consequences of their decision.
