Our room was not stocked on arrival. We had to ask for toilet paper, for example. The grounds are beautiful--a highlight for the property. Stairs to the beach are broken though you can walk a longer way to get there. The alternate route isn't good for anyone who can't handle a lot of hill climbing. Don't wait for the electric cart to help carry baggage to your room. We asked people waiting when we arrived. They said they'd been waiting ten minutes. We checked in and they were still there so we carried our bags. We're younger but for older folks I imagine the hilly walk would be tough to carry luggage. Restaurant is closed Mon-Wed. so be prepared to drive to a town for dining. Its not far though.

Walkable

We're at the top of the property, and that is definitely an UP walk. It's a forest view room, but I can still see the ocean and it's all a gorgeous view. The room has plenty of room, appears clean, and I feel safe. The staff are friendly and helpful. The walls between rooms are paper thin, but apart from that, it's very quiet (there was a wedding, but we didn't hear that party at all). The hot tub was wonderful. Recycling is available. I really enjoyed that I could walk to Devils Punchbowl, tide pools, and Beverly Beach. Yes, we would stay here again.

This is property is in a wonderful spot. It was difficult to find our room on the grounds at night. The grounds are beautifully landscaped and I really enjoyed all the flowers. Our room had an exceptional view and comfortable bed but the decor was quite old and dated. The bathroom is tiny. The biggest disappointment was the stairs to the tide pools was closed. That was a primary reason we selected this place so I hope that it is repaired quickly. There is another entry a little further away at the Punchbowl. The restaurant had limited hours and it would be lovely if there were some breakfast offerings as well as tea and coffee (besides in reception). Pricey for the type of room but the location is superb.

Our stay was great other than the fact that our condo was not the cleanest. The floor looked like it had been over looked when they cleaned. The staff was great. Carpet needed to be cleaned as well.

Clean and comfortable room. Beautiful views and nice walking paths. Our only complaint is the divider on the balcony was canvas stretched over a wood frame and it would snap and bang loudly when the wind kicked up ( a frequent occurance at the beach). This would be easily remedied with a solid wood divider.

Beautiful views

Beautiful views along the coast of Oregon at Inn at Otter Crest is the main headline. You can’t beat the spectacular scenery. We saw a few whales from our deck. The room was a little outdated but who cares with that view. The grounds around the Inn are beautiful. Lots of flowers to see. The pool/jacuzzi and sauna were a big plus too.

We had two different rooms at this lovely property with great ocean views; one room was OK and tired, and one was great, updated, and fresh. The rooms are owned by different folks, so you need to make sure you get a good room.

Absolutely stunning!

The property is absolutely STUNNING! We had the best view, access to the beach and trails, and I didn't realize how close we were to Devil's Punchbowl and the coffee shop. It felt like we could have been greeted with a little more warmth when we arrived--the gal working the front desk was just "meh" when I walked in the door. Also, our neighbors the first night were so loud--the walls are just paper thin. I had to call about 7 times before someone finally answered the front desk phone to address the noisy neighbors. Also, the pillows could stand to be replaced. They were very flat. Also, more coffee in the rooms! Aside from those things, we truly enjoyed our stay and would give an overall 4/5 stars.
