The room was large, the bed great and the safety and security above average. There was no coffee pot in the room to make daily coffee but a free coffee dispenser in the lobby. Th TV channels were old school with no streaming? We would stay again.

my bride and i rarely try to stay at the same place upon a trip. However listen, this location exceeds our needs with excellence in every category! We seek it out as soon as we determine we are going to Overland Park, Olathe, or the Kansas area as a whole. The apartment rooms and common area facility is always clean and being cleaned, parking exceptional, pet friendly, quiet, peaceable, and congenial residents, and location very accesible to most needs 10 minutes away. However, the highlight of Water Walk is the staff, amazingly friendly, kind, helpful, more family like mothers, aunts, and siblings assisting you professionally. All who cared for us each time we stay. Carol always welcomes and checks us in, Catheryn arranged an extended night due to snow storm, DJ served us well, and Russ resolved some invoice needs. Think about this they have no employee turnover because they love working here, thus serve you and me exceptionally!

The negative part of my stay is the condition of the room. The staff was very friendly and helpful. But the room was not worth what I paid for for four nights. The only good thing in that room was the washer and dryer. Yet the first thing I found was a shirt that was not ours in the washing machine. The second thing I found was lipstick on one of the drinking glasses. So using any of the kitchenware was hard to do unless I washed it first. The floors in that room were so dirty that my white socks turned almost black after walking around for about five minutes. So needless to say, I kept my socks and shoes on the whole time I was there. I also noticed when I closed one of the bathroom doors that there was brown smudge marks on the inside. Not sure what that was. And the most disturbing was finding a dirty sock that was not ours inside of the bedsheets the day we left. So that meant it was in the bed the whole four nights we were there. I think that is the one thing that prompted me to write this review. Never once did I feel comfortable in that room and it made my Thanksgiving visit pretty sad. Next time I am in the area I will most likely stay somewhere else and use a laundromat elsewhere if I need to wash any clothes.
