The newly-remodeled room was well appointed and the bed, linens, and pillows were lovely, although there was not a hanger or hook to hang a jacket. We were next to the stairs which generated so much noise that we needed to keep the fan on just to sleep. The “security lights” should be replaced with motion detectors as they were super bright and lit up our room, making sleep nearly impossible. The “view” outside our room was a bicycle, spare door, and other debris. The back yard area definitely needs attention/landscaping. The lodge faces the highway, resulting in lots of road noise. The website photo of the cabin is misleading as most rooms are in the lodge.

Excellent Cabin in Great Location!

I thoroughly enjoyed my solo cabin at High Creek Lodge and Cabins! The cabin was very comfortable with a nice bathroom and great WiFi and satellite TV. The grounds were beautiful with two hot tubs available. Breakfast was satisfying every morning. The main area of Pagosa Springs was a just short drive away and Mesa Verde National Park was less than two hours away. I highly recommend High Creek Lodge and Cabins!

Beautiful hotel room. Beds were a little hard. No coffee, in room,at the coffee bar The breakfast was nice and they did have lots of fresh coffee there.

Check in online was super easy. The room and bathroom in the suite was fantastic, clean, spacious, newly renovated. It was less than a 10 minute drive to Pagosa Springs. Breakfast was the best I've had at a stay. Great overall experience!

This is such an awesome place! I loved that it had a little kitchen with cooking utensils and two eyes. A separate living room with a door that can be closed off from the bedroom. Beds were comfortable and the walk in shower was nice. Two hot tubs and free laundry. Plus the property is so beautiful, feels like being out in the woods but very close to town still. Free breakfast and friendly people. This is an amazing place and an incredible value. I hope they don't change because I will definitely be back if I ever come back to Pagosa springs.

This cabin was so cozy. It was in a perfect location to everything my family wanted to experience in the area. The cabin was clean and felt like a home away from home. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch swing of an evening and enjoying the views.

Pros- inside of cabin was nice, comfortable bed, decent breakfast, the on-site staff in the morning were very friendly. Cons- maintenance lacking, broken bathroom fan and sink, broken decking. Worst- several cabins #20-22 (including ours) face the side of property where the maintenance trucks are parked blocking view, along with the dumpster and broken equipment piles. The property was littered with random tools- ladders, a shovel, rakes, hoses laying in grass, walkways or propped against buildings with no one using them or working- seriously pick up your stuff! We had to move chairs to the back of the cabin to enjoy the view and not hear the CONSTANT running of the grey water generator right off the cabin porches.
