Absolutely Horrible Stay – Avoid at All Costs! From the moment we arrived, this hotel was a nightmare. Eric at the front desk had zero sense of customer service. After checking in, we left for dinner, only to return to a room with an unbearable, foul odor. I tried calling the front desk multiple times no one answered. Orbitz, who we booked through, attempted to call and got the same result: silence. We had booked three nights, but the smell made the room unlivable. When I went down to the front desk in person, Eric was dismissive and rude. He claimed the hotel was fully booked and only offered to show me another room, which reeked just as badly. His excuse? “It’s the construction workers staying here.” He refused to speak to the Orbitz representative on the phone and assured me we would get a refund. A week later, we are still out the charges for three days including an additional deposit fee and no resolution in sight. If you value your health, money, and sanity, do not stay here.

Very disappointed

It was upsetting to find the pool was warm and the hot tub was freezing. This was very upsetting being that my husband and i picked this hotel for the hot tub and pool for the kids. Then there wasnt any hair conditioner or body wash available nor was there a blow dryer or microwave as was mentioned online during booking. The breakfast was strictly continental, all cold no hot food. To many cons for the price i paid for our room. I will not stay here again, i will stick to Holiday Inn, better rooms and amenities and free hot breakfast for a cheaper price as well.

The room we got was not even close to clean. Dirty bathroom. Stained bedding. We left asap. Hotel would not give a refund.

It wasn't bad once we were checked in, we never seen another person. I went to get towels. I had to get them from the pool room. I ran out of toilet paper.Luckily there was a dollar general near by. Never seen a maid once. Plus I was charged an additional a hundred dollars for the stay because they said that you did not charge enough.

Musty dirty smelling room, debris and food in chair cushion, filthy/stained linens. After seeing blood specs on the sheets, I looked at Google reviews and saw several reports of bed bugs. We had already unpacked our luggage in the room, but still I tried finding another motel nearby. It was a busy weekend, and it was late, so I couldn’t find anything. We ended up staying but are now dealing with the aftermath of sanitizing everything to prevent bed bugs from entering our home. All in all, a filthy disgusting room and general lack of regard for hygiene. I would never stay here again.

Recently stayed at the Hillside Inn and it (to me) was just a remodeled older hotel. Our air conditioner was poor, the noise from the parking lot (construction worker's staying there) was irritating at 5:30am.

Avoid the place if you can

Price fixing r 1 night stay was way too much for accommodation at this place and the Continental Breakfast was not that at all…!! Then I Was over charged $250 the price was not the same amount as listed and guaranteed by Hotels.Com. The front desk upon check in was very rude. Had to call mmaintence to come fix the TV

When I arrived for check in. My room was checked in already by another people.Receiptionist she showed my papers for name Cheryl and her sign under my name. We asked how it possible that. Hotel didn’t check identity. Receiptionist stated I don’t know it wasn’t me. Bad think they couldn’t find new room until I demanded supervisor. Then they found . Horrible experience.

The Hillside Inn was a great property on the edge of town. The beds were comfy, memory, foam style beds, a decent size refrigerator, a separate freezer section, and the staff is friendly. Friendly. The breakfast provides cereals, muffins and fruit. Although the property is not located in the heart of downtown Pagosa springs, it actually is more accessible to a lot of outdoor adventures that you would like to do!
