I have stayed all over the country and this by four has taken the cake. It’s a Pueblo/Adobe style home with two balconies overlooking the property lines. One in the north eastern corner and another on the north western corner. Both have amazing views one in the morning and one in the evening. There’s a field with a brush line along a hills edge that has a game trail. We saw several mule deer and turkeys from home. Also heard elk bugling in the distance. We went to Pagosa Springs for the Wolf Creek ski lodge, season opener.Whenever we showed up, there was little snow on the mountain tops by the second day everything was coated with fresh snow. I’m from Louisiana and I have never seen something like this occur. Never thought I would be there to witness something like that ever in my lifetime. The time of the year when the snow began to fall and it began to look like a winter wonderland! I truly hate to give this review because I know others will enjoy it just as much as I have causing the price to go up. There will be other places that I will stay, so I am OK with sharing the experience. Enjoy the photos, oh almost all were taken from on the premises.The pic overlooking the valley is the return trip from Wolf Creek pass. There is a lookout off of mountain side overlooking valley below. Some people say that Colorado is some of the most beautiful country. I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves. I don’t have special camera or any special effects. iPhone 15 camera. lol

Beautiful views and great house layout, appliances and indoor amenities need upgrading.

We loved the remote feeling of this property and beautiful views. The house was near the town of Pagosa but felt very private. Indoor fireplace and outdoor gas fire pit were lovely to have for a winter vacation. Heated floors in the entry way were also great. A big drawback was that we couldn’t ever get the washing machine to start. We’ve stayed in dozens of rentals and haven’t ever run into this issue. Maintenance came twice and “ran” the machine but they failed to communicate to us how to get it to start. This was unacceptable for a property at this price and very inconvenient as this was a family ski vacation with young children. Also bedding, towels, and kitchen appliances and tools were stained, tired, and rusty. Kitchen cabinets were in need of repair or upgrade as well. If we ever return, we will come back for the property, not for the amenities.

Girl’s Trip 2024

Two of my friends and myself took our annual girls trip and stayed at the property. It was perfect for our needs. We were able to relax, have some laughs and there was enough room for us to spread out if we so chose too. The house was convenient to town but still far enough away from the hustle and bustle to enjoy nature.

Pagosa getaway

Overall was good, the area is nice and quiet and close to everything. however a couple issues, the BBQ grill was not usable as opened it up and just all rusted out. The shower drain in main level bedroom is almost clogged, you had to stand in several inches of water to shower, the shower issue could be easily missed but not the grill.

Spacious and cozy

This is such a beautiful home, I wish I could live here! There are thoughtful touches and amenities throughout the home, plenty of extra pillows, blankets, towels, you name it! The spacious kitchen has every kind of cooking and entertaining accessory you could ask for. The heated floors are luxurious after a long day in the cold. Even lots of games and entertainment right in the home. It's set in a very open, back road area off the main drag, with beautiful views of the skies and mountains from the multiple porches and balconies. Would warn travelers the last mile or so of road leading up to the house is pretty rough, especially in snow. And beds on the firmer side of comfortable. None of this impacted our stay in a bad way though. 10/10 hope to stay again sometime!

Great getaway convenient to all amenities in the Pagosa Springs area

We planned an impromptu vacation and decided to stay a few days in the Pagosa Springs area. The property was as described and more! We loved the location as it was convenient to everything that we wanted to do. An abundance of on the property as we saw turkeys and deer daily. The house was very clean and had everything we needed/wanted and a lot more. Communication was great and the check in/out was extremely easy. We will definitely choose this house again when we return to the area. We highly recommend this property to all. Thanks for a great place to stay!

Great choice

We really enjoyed our time at this home. We traveled with our two children: ages 6 and 9, and they were able to “claim” the upstairs of the house (2 bedrooms + TV watching area) while downstairs remained quiet and peaceful. If you like to walk/run, the roads around the house offer great scenery. It is an easy, quick drive into downtown Pagosa. Just as every other review for this house states, this is a really great house to stay in.

Mardi Gras at Pagosa

We spent our Mardi Gras holiday in Pagosa and went skiing at Wolf Creek. It’s only about a 30-45 minute drive to Wolf Creek and we had all of the conveniences of town without all of the high prices of the big resort towns like Breckenridge. The house was perfect for our group and so spacious. They had lots of thoughtful and helpful items in the house too - games, puzzles, Roku TV for streaming after a long day on the mountain. We would definitely stay here again.

Winter Wonderland

Beautiful, well-appointed, well-equipped home in an excellent location in Pagosa Springs. Great view from every room made it feel like living in a snowglobe with the massive snowfall we experienced! Kitchen had everything we needed to cook after a long day of skiing. We loved sitting by the fire, underneath the plush blankets, listening to classical music on the record player. Sublime! Can't wait to return!
