The first room we went into room 601. Somebody left the toilet with a big load of crap in it. The room smelled. We went to the Manager and there was no manager on duty and she said they don’t work on the weekends. There’s no housekeeping on the weekends. She switched this to another room room number 542 and that room the heated didn’t work. It was 30° in Jacksonville Florida and we were freezing. They said they maintenance man up two hours later then we go into the bathroom to take a shower and there’s mold black mold all over the shower and then when you turn the shower on the water did not drain went downstairs again there’s no manager here we can help you with. There’s no cleaning service till Monday and she can’t do anything about giving us some money back so if you wanna stay in Palm Gardens, do not stay at this Doubletree it is dirty beyond belief.

The room needs a remodel. It was clean, smelled clean. Checkin staff was ok. Beds are on the firm side. Pillows are nice. A/C is not cold and it is VERY loud so much so that you have to talk loudly within your room. My only true complaint is its old. Liked the shampoo, conditioner, body wash.
