During my recent stay at your hotel, I reported on the very first day that the bathroom mirror light was not working. I was told by the front desk that it required two engineers to replace the bulbs and that they would be available later that afternoon. However, when I checked in again that evening, I was given the same explanation, only one engineer was available.
Unfortunately, this excuse was repeated each day for the duration of my stay, and the issue was never resolved. I had to do my makeup in poor lighting the entire time, which was both frustrating and inconvenient. On the second day, I was provided with a vanity mirror, but it also didn’t light up, although it did magnify, which helped only slightly.
When I brought the matter to the hotel manager's attention, I was told that because I had booked through Orbitz, there was nothing they could do for me directly, and that I would need to file a complaint through your site. I found this response disappointing, as I expected the hotel to address maintenance issues regardless of how the reservation was made.
Given this experience, I’m not sure I will book future trips through Orbitz, knowing that issues like this may not be properly addressed or resolved.
This ongoing issue significantly impacted my stay and reflected a lack of follow-through on what should have been a simple fix.
