Poor customer service

The room was so so clean and the front desk attendance were very polite. I ended up having to leave a day early do to a death in the family. As I was checking out I went to ask if there was anything they can do about the second day I reserved. I told them I understood if they couldn't being short notice. The attendance went back to talk to the manager and came back telling me the manager said since I booked it through hotels.com there was nothing she can do, but she would’ve refunded it if I booked it directly through the hotel. The Attendant advised me to call Hotels.com since it was before noon and see what they could do. So, I called hotels.com and they went ahead and contacted the manager of the hotel. Spent 20 minutes on the phone and they finally got back to me and said the manager said its the policy of the hotel not to go ahead and give refunds on short notice. It would of been nice if they were honest upfront! It left me irritated and annoyed. So I will not be doing business with them again.

Family Stay

Overall, our stay was okay. However, there were a couple of issues that made the experience less pleasant. First, there were no alternative breakfast options for guests who don’t eat pork—pork sausage was the only meat offered, which was disappointing for our family. Also, we were running late for check-in and called the hotel over six times to confirm that our room would still be available. No one answered. When we arrived, we found the hotel attendant in the lobby on the phone, which made the lack of response even more frustrating.

The only complaint is the trash is not empty on a daily basis you have to call house keeping i called a couple of time and still didn't show. Was there for 5 days only emptied 2 days trash over flowed. Over all i was completely satisfied would stay there again.

Definitely an improvement from Days Inn since Holiday Inn took over! The rooms and facility renovations are a huge improvement! The fresh ground coffee available anytime is great! I would recommend if you’re staying here to bring your own soap, hair and lotion. What is provided is a 1 oz container of each.

Dirty & Disappointing

I will let the pictures speak for themselves! I commend the young lady that checked me in on her 3rd day of work who had been left alone for the night. The staff was very friendly. The bed was very comfy, but this hotel was dirty. Trash piled up everywhere, the elevators were dirty, the room was dirty when I arrived and there was old urine behind the toilet. There was a sign in the elevator that said you needed to call a day ahead for room service. It would have been nice to have a cleaned room when I arrived. Especially since I was only there for a weekend. I always stay at Holiday Day Inn Express. They are always clean, affordable and they provide breakfast w/coffee which is great when on vacation. I was thoroughly disappointed with this hotel. $425 for 3 nights is not cheap. I feel they could DO MUCH BETTER!

They didn't come in to clean the room, change the bed sheets and also we only had one roll of paper in the bathroom for three days and 2 nights for 2 adults it was inconvenient other thant that the room was comfortable the place was quiet wich we loved.
