I had originally saved one of their rooms to my favorites, but when I booked, I somehow ended up with a room across the street. I didn’t mind not having the ocean view, but the room I received was very different from what I was expecting. The bathroom was extremely small—changing in there was nearly impossible. The beds were uncomfortable and had visible stains, which was disappointing.
I also tried calling multiple times before the trip with some questions, but each time I was on hold for over 10 minutes, even when listed as first in line and ended up hanging up each time. I understand it’s the busy season, but it was frustrating not being able to reach anyone until we arrived. Even then, check-in took a while due to issues with a new system they were learning.
To be fair, the staff wasn’t rude, but the experience just didn’t match what was advertised in the photos or reviews. If you’re booking here, be sure to double-check exactly which room you’re reserving—it makes a big difference. I did try to upgrade but they didn’t have anything available and then I asked what the cancellation fee was- but at that point might as well just stay and chalk it up as a lesson learned.
