Positives were staff and location Negatives were overwhelming - toilet was blocked and didnt get fixed, shower didnt close properly - water everywhere, bathroom door wouldnt close, the walls are paper thin, guests are loud and bang doors all throughout the night, bar/club plays loud music till late on weekends, not the cleanest room. Would avoid, im sure there are better hotels for the money.

Great location for walking to many attractions. Lots of dining in the area. Nice area. Hotel quite "period" and quirky. Friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Rooms are falling apart. Not maintained at all. Door handle to our bathroom was falling off, shower door didn’t close, toilet paper holder fell off, lamps wouldn’t turn on, very old carpeting in the hallways, etc. Check-in was chaotic, I don’t know if they were having trouble with their computer system? Great location but terrible rooms for the price we paid.

Very nice hotel located along interior arcade. Nice view from our room to back of the arcade and of Montmarte cathedral. Room was in excellent condition.

Historical Hotel with Awesome Service

Our first time in Paris, this hotel was a piece of history. The rooms are small but the service is outstanding. You are about 2-3 minutes from two Metro lines and just steps from awesome restaurants. Contact Epic Holidays AB for more details

The location is this hotel is super. But have to say my trip was pretty much ruined when I was locked out of my room on the last night. I had met friends who were over from Australia. Been out for dinner and returned to the room. Left my phone wallet. Popped upto their room and when I came back down the door wouldn’t open. After waiting in reception for almost an hour the door simply was locked shut and couldn’t be opened. I was then put in some kind of staff/reserve room. A single bad and no window. No ability to tell what time it was. No belongings of any kind. I was told I would get a call at 7-8am the next morning. The anxiety this caused me was unreal, not knowing when I’d get back in my room. Not knowing if I’d make my train back to London. And frankly the hotel staff didn’t seem to really care. No real apologies. The next morning, 8.30 no call so I head down and I tell them I was locked out. I get a sharp “yes” and then I have to ask what’s going on. So blaze, I’m told they are waiting for someone to come out but it could be 9 or later but not really sure. So I head back upto the room where I sit and wait. At around 9.40 I get a call saying I can now get back in my room. On checkout I ask for a refund for that night. Since I didn’t stay in the room I paid for. She goes to ask the manager he agrees but it needs to go through Expedia. You guessed it still no refund. Hotel not relishing and I’m left with a bitter taste of a trip. Not good enough on both fronts.

When we arrived we were told that they were placing us in a room that would be quieter because of the noise at a party on the street below. The room that we were put in was absolutely terrible and did not at all match the description of the room that we booked. It was absolutely awful. It was also still incredibly noisy from the party below. I complained to the staff but it was too late at night to change our room. The next day they did move us to a more appropriate room.
