The whole property was being renovated outside. It was covered in scaffolding. You could not open a window without the room getting covered in dust. The builders were chipping off all the render. Expedie should not selling this hotel.

The location is good, 5 mins to the M metro station. There are a few metro lines in the area. A very good bakery shop across the street. Room was clean. Shower pressure was good. Staff were nice. The biggest problem was wifi. The front desk told us that wifi was not working in any room, it was working only in the lobby.

Our stay was only for 1 night. The entrance to hotel a little confusing due to the scaffolding out the front. But didn't enjoy having to dodge what looked like vommit around the entrance. Our room was on entry level floor. Was quite noisy from the street outside trams/trains that went underneath every 10-15mins. These trains run until midnight. This didnt bother us too much as we had just done a 26hr journey. The wifi is terrible, would kick you out every 2mins. When spoke to front desk, they just it is working. There was some cleaning issues. Cups in the room were so dirty it was disgusting. There was a mark on some of the bedding which lookes like a blood stain. The floors in the room and bathroom were all relative clean. Overall given the above mentioned the stay was OK it is very close to Gare de Lyons station which was perfect for us. There is also many good places to eat as well particularly a little patisserie right across the road.

Friendly and helpful staff, clean rooms. Filtered water available outside rooms and you can fill up the jug provided. Eliminates need for bottled water. Decent breakfast for a fee. Many dining options within walking distance. Close to metro/rail/bus stations. Because of construction, WFi in room was not working which was a major problem. Apparently will be fixed soon.

Très près de la Gare de Lyon, 2 minutes à pied, c'est parfait si vous avez un train de prévu ou des déplacements dans Paris. Gens très courtois et petite chambre comfortable.

No WIFI and no one willing to help!

The hotel itself was nice, but on our initial check in we were told that the WiFi was not working and that they were working to get it fixed. We kept being told it would take 1 hour then we were told it was going to take until the evening before it would be fixed. We found out later from a different desk person that the WiFi had been not working for 20 days and they didn’t know when it would be fixed. We asked to speak to the manager of the hotel and we were told that the manager would not be in until Monday, then a different person told us that the property didn’t have a manager. No one offered to compensate us in anyway. We were very disappointed that we didn’t have WiFi for the 4 Days and 3 nights we were there. Not very honest and definitely not helpful with resolving the problem or our continued requests to speak with someone in charge. They didn’t have any intention on helping us or trying to do anything to make sure that we were happy with our stay at the hotel. Definitely call and confirm that they have functioning WiFi!!

They are currently doing construction on the building. As with many buildings in Paris it is quite old. My room was clean, but had a strong mildew smell. I couldn’t pinpoint the cause of the smell. No mold in the bathroom etc. the staff was excellent. The area has many dining options. Very close to the Gare de Lyon.

We were dismayed to find the Hotel under construction, but we appreciated the warm welcome from the staff and early checkin. We had to have breakfast at 6 am to catch our train at the nearby Gare de Lyon. The very good continental breakfast included a variety of pastries, fresh fruit, sliced ham, yogurt, cereal and many lovely cheeses. If you breakfast later there would be some hot food. We walked to Notre Damn and also took the Batobus. This location suited our needs and I recommend it to other train travellers.

Not so good if you’re 1m 90cm tall!

Lovely welcome, friendly service. Good breakfast. Clean but the Hotel is undergoing major redevelopment. Bathroom configuration for our room was bizarre with your legs sideways under a sink when sat on it! The shower was up a step, ‘in a box’, and really only suited to shorter visitors… unfortunately I’m not of those!

The Internet was broken and the credit card machine did not work so we had to use what little cash we had to pay the bill. Tried to cancel the booking but wasn’t allowed to. There were better and cheaper hotels in the area. The room was clean but in a state of disrepair. Not possible to open the shutter on the window. Bathroom was renovated and a good size. Two light bulbs not working. Television not working on many channels. This was not a pleasant experience at all and I do not recommend this hotel.

Was a great stay for us although the room was small. Room was clean but public area distracted. Exterior is undergoing reno so things should change. Great area and easy to get around. Great food in the area from expensive to resonable.
