Perfect hotel for exploring Montmartre and the rest of Paris. Handy for the metro but equally easy to walk to most visitor attractions. Lovely selection of cafes, restaurants, wine bars, patisseries, and unique shops just a short stroll away and the hotel is situated in a quiet street. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The honesty bar and complimentary coffee/ tea/ soft drinks/ cake in the afternoon / evening were a very nice addition. Also the ice cold still & sparkling water that was on tap all the time. The rooms were small but had everything a larger hotel would offer - safe, hairdryer, laundry service, air con, tea making facilities, and gorgeous L,Occitane toiletries in the bathroom. All in all a great little place to stay and enjoy all Paris has to offer.

A gem of a hotel. Staff was very helpful, spoke English, helped with dining reservations and taxi arrangements. Room was small but clean. Beds super comfortable. We opened the doors on our balcony and took in the sights and sounds of this beautiful neighborhood. Don’t hesitate to book here!

The hotel is stylish and modern. Staff are so friendly and helpful, with thoughtful touches like macarons on arrival and a map of the local area with notes for a walking tour. My room was clean and quiet with all required amenities. The area itself has a neighbourhood feel with many great options for brunch, dinner and cocktails as well as independent shops. It is also easy and manageable to walk into the centre of Paris.

Absolutely excellent

Truly a spotless hotel. Cleanliness is on par or beyond the finest properties. The staff is very unusually warm, friendly and helpful. The air conditioning works great. The rooms are small, but worked well for us. Loved the location. I’d absolutely stay again. highly recommended.

Extremely quiet. Staff was super helpful. Christophe at the evening/over night front desk was a great. Loved his music selection. The champagne at the drink bar was wonderful. Everyone was helpful at every level. The hotel and room was extremely clean. Hotel is close to transport. One minus was the air conditioning would turn off or down at night. I probably didn’t take the time to learn or ask how it works. Stayed there in August 2025.

Lovely stay

First our airline misplaced our checked in bags and our hotel in Paris held onto them for us until we arrived. They also had the bags in our room when we arrived after midnight. The staff went above and beyond. There was an elevator and air conditioned rooms.

A Magical, Comfortable Stay

This was our location for our first two nights in Paris, and next time I'll stay longer. Hotel Des Arts is a wonderful hotel with an excellent staff. The location allowed us to explore all that Montmartre had to offer and come back for a very comfortable night in our cozy sixth-floor room with a view of Sacré-Cœur over Paris rooftops. We also had the full moon on view from our window, but I don't think the hotel arranged that :-) We enjoyed the complementary glasses of champagne, but, really, we just loved the art-focused interior; the professional, polite, and accommodating staff; and proximity to cafes, boulangeries, and Basilique du Sacré-Cœur de Montmartre.

Perfectly situated on the fringe of the busy Montmartre area such that it's quiet at nighttime and you gets peaceful rest after a busy day exploring. Hotel offers complimentary refreshments and toiletries. The bedlinen is smooth and pleasant to sleep in. Art work around the hotel is inspiring.
