Charming building with historical architecture and fixtures intact. Air conditioned room and they have an elevator. Breakfast served daily. Location ideal for me. Metro nearby, safe, walkable neighborhood. Comfortable bed.

I spent 3 nights followed later by a single night. The hotel is in an excellent position, near to the Odeon metro and is excellent value for this location. On both occasions the rooms were clean and comfortable if a little basic. The continental breakfast provided sets you up well for the day. The staff are friendly, helpful and obliging. The lift is the narrowest I have experienced, with space for only one person (with a small backpack) and a single piece of luggage. It adds to the charm of the place which is decorated in a late 19th century style. Recommended

Great location

Location was great. Walking distance to charming streets with restaurants, convenience stores, Metro, Notre Dame, Louvre, Musee d'Orsay, Pantheon, etc.. To me it wasn't very clean or comfortable. The fridge didn't work and there was no air conditioning at the time, so it was quite warm in the room during the day and evening. Breakfast was good, there was always a place to sit and the staff kept everything clean and good. Location and breakfast are what kept the stay acceptable.

Great for a solo trip!

I loved that this was close to the metro and big attractions like Notre Dame. I felt very safe and the croissants at breakfast were delicious.

Room is okay, location is good

The hotel was just okay. Thankfully we were given a bigger room by mistake but they allowed us to continue in the room as probably there wasn't any booking. We thank the owner for letting us continue there.🙏 Pros Near to station and train service. Good choice of Restaurants in walking distance. Cons No view. The actual standard room is very tiny and the elevator feels like you are going in a coffin. No kettle or tea provided in the room. Suggestion Best for 1/2 day stay and I would suggest to go for the bigger room as probably that would be better.

Except for the location, the hotel has some major issues. I don’t recommend it because the carpet is filthy and clearly not clean. There was used toilet paper left from the previous guest, and the towels are old. Additionally, there were no paper towels in the room, and the overall cleanliness was disappointing. The hotel really needs to be renovated. On a positive note, the staff are friendly.
