Staff were friendly and very helpful. The room was very quiet, very dark and provided solid nights sleep. You could not get better location: it is in the middle of everything Sydney has to offer with every form of public transport at the door step. My son and I spent three great nights in the hotel while exploring the city, a very positive experience.

Mold in the bathroom and grouting missing, coffee machine in lounge didn’t work and they have removed the water station. There was rubbish next to the bed from a previous guest. Location is brilliant. Price is high for the room in this state.

Bathroom needs major upgrading - no where to place items in the bathroom and mould around the tiles. Great idea to have guests ask for items e.g. body lotion and showercap so not too much wastage for the hotel. Location was really good.

Reception staff are very friendly 😆 Room 101 was clean & bed was comfortable. Shower had good pressure & hot water. The was right beside the lift, but was not noisy. Breakfast at the Manon Cafe, accross the road, in the QVB building, was good. Gluten Free menu available.

Small, functional room. All the usual stuff and everything worked ok - fridge, T & coffee etc. good WiFi. Only saw staff at reception and they were pleasant and courteous. The first floor guest lounge was a nice quiet space. Great location for CBD, circular quay and the rocks/Darling harbour.

The family room facing the back of the hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The beds were very good and sleep quality was great! The air conditioning was very good and you could sleep well without the air conditioning on, it was a lovely temperature at night. The bathroom was tiny, much smaller than I have experienced in Sydney and the rainfall shower head did not work but it was adequate. There was a fridge and tea and coffee in the room. The staff who was on reception on our arrival of Sunday 16 November were not warm and welcoming like what I had read about in reviews, The woman couldn’t find my booking for a while and just handed over the room cards, transactional but without warmth or smiles and no information like that there was a lounge, I only found out about that at the end so never used it. . I had read slippers were available in the room but they were not and when I asked she said slippers? No not anymore, even though in the elevator it said you could get some for $2. Cost cutting is evident, no facecloths, no daily bed making. The room was quite clean but details were left out like the glass doors needed to be cleaned. I might stay again for the quality of sleep and location to the beautiful QVB.
