Great stay! Hotel in convenient location of 2 meteo lines. Very cool/hip area with lots of food options and bars with happy hours. Would recommend! Location is on a hill so wouldn't suggest its good for anyone with walking difficulties. Room was comfy and great shower!

Nice boutique hotel. Close to metro. Lots of great restaurants especially Asian. Loved Petite Ravioli for dumplings ( recommended by hotel). Staff were friendly and very helpful. Comfortable beds.

Near 2 metro stations (a closer one uphill and another one downhill that is pretty close). A laundromat is across the street - super easy to use with machine times on their website. Great Vietnamese, Chinese, and Middle Eastern food nearby. Grocery store uphill and a couple smaller corner stores downhill. A mouse came in to our ground floor large room (it's Paris) and Eddy the manager immediately moved us upstairs and gave us free breakfast for the rest of our stay. Rooms are spacious and clean. The breakfast was delicious (cereal, yogurt, fruits, eggs, sausages, croissants, various coffees from a machine, different juices - great start to a day in Paris. Quiet neighbourhood away from the hoards of tourists all over the city. Belleville is culturally quaint and a relief from the big city at the end of the day.

While I agree that it was within their rights to do so, I found it pretty awful that they refused to give any credit or make any accommodations whatsoever when I had to cancel due to my hospitalization. This was the only reservation that did so. Pretty cold of them.

The hotel was very nice & modern. The staff was very friendly & helpful. Our room was lovely but the shower wasn't sealed properly so a puddle formed on the floor every time. Would have been nice to have tea & a kettle in the room, but liked the lighted wardrobe & the desk area. The area wasn't very nice but it was central enough to what we wanted to do in Paris.

The room and bathroom were fine. The young lady at the reception desk was outstanding. The problem was that mice came into our room and went into our luggages attracted by some small packs of cookies and nuts that we carried for snacks. The noise and raffle the mice made kept up awake so we could understand what was making all that noise. Then we were able to see where the mice came from and attempted to plug the hole. Obviously our night was pretty much wasted. The next morning we advised the young lady at the reception desk that there were mice in our room. She was very apologetic and offered us free breakfast which we could not accept due to our travel schedule. I was still expecting a message from the Scarlett's management that they had identified the mice problem and corrective measures were in place. But I have not heard or received anything and to this day I do not know if any action was taken to clean the mice issue. So I am disappointed by the Scarlett management and I would obviously not returned to this hotel nor would I recommend the Scarlett to anybody.
