Great little hotel in a good area. The room was quite small and was noisy from the floor above which could be rectified for little money and thought. Noise covers on chairs so they don’t make a noise when moved. Door noise suppressors on the bathroom doors would also help.

The property was clean, tidy and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and the staff was extremely friendly, and helpful. The only downside for my stay was no available reservations for dinner at their hotel restaurant so we had to seek dinner elsewhere at the last minute and the view from our room was of the side of a building, so not the best.

We arrived early. They welcomed us with coffee or champagne ( I took the bubbly). They hadn’t yet finished tidying up the shower but they let us set our bags down in the room. As this was a”gift” for my wife’s birthday, & I mentioned it upon reserving the suite. The room was decorated with balloons and a bottle of wine. The staff were extremely attentive to our every need. Super friendly and if you’re not comfortable in French, they seem to all speak English very well. The location is near a couple train lines a very walkable with many great dining options (we ate at three superb restaurants within 500 yds). I will be coming back

We had a wonderful stay at Maison Mere! The beds were so comfortable and we loved started our day taking in the day on our balcony The staff to a person is warm and exceptional. Don't miss treating yourself to a meal at Nectar. It's among the top 5 restaurants in Paris for a reason. Our meal was incredible.

Pros: Very clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower. Housekeeping daily. Warm welcoming staffs. Walking distance to metro. Less touristy local neighborhood. Great cafe/restaurants close by. Balcony. Cons: Room is small compared to US, but it's typical in Paris. We'll definitely stay in Maison Mere when we visit Paris again.

Maison Mere is a really lovely boutique hotel a short walk from Gard du Nord, and a longer but very pleasant walk from the sights of central Paris. It is set close to a very nice small square with bars and restaurant and its in-house restaurant, Nectar, is superb. Staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and modern, and our small family had a wonderful stay. We plan to return and to use this as our regular Paris pied a terre.

Maison Mère isn’t just your typical hotel—it’s a whole vibe! From the moment you check in, you can feel the love in the little details— a glass of champagne to kick things off in style at check in, a handwritten welcome note waiting in your room. The unique taste in hotel decor, intimate atmosphere made it more interesting to stay here. As for the in-house restaurant, Nectar—The staff is top-notch, especially Imran, who’s not only a great conversationalist but also went an extra mile to make sure our breakfast was memorable each day.

This is our second visit to Maison Mere and it always exceeds expectations! The staff is incredible and so welcoming. Our room was beautiful, and the bed was just as wonderful as we remembered. It’s like sleeping on a cloud. We had a great stay and will definitely be back!
