The staff was very nice and accommodating for the most part. The rooms were clean, but many things did not work. You have to create an account to use WiFi and even then, the service did not work most of the time. The tv went in and out. The pump on the soap, shampoo, and conditioner left in the room did not work and could not be used. They were never replaced. The bed was two mattresses pushed together, which made sleeping uncomfortable. The outdoor courtyard area closes at 10:00, but this was never communicated until a staff member yelled at us and another group of people for being out there. The lights were on, the doors were unlocked, and there was no sign in sight. It’s a good area and an ok hotel, but for the price we paid, I think that some of these things could have been better.

Overall, I would stay here again as the location is great and the price is reasonable for what you get. The room wasn’t very quiet but the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was a bit worn down - only one tap worked - but it was clean. Staff were kind and breakfast had fresh and healthy options.

We stayed for 7 days. It was great overall. The only things I didn’t like was you can hear the noise from outside/ street, i need to opened the window because thermostat was 19C set. It was too warm for me.

I don’t like the bed it’s hard and hurts the back this is a Marriott so why is it not comfortable like a Marriott? Bar is good, had a blast doing shots w bartenders at closing! Also no closet, hardly any space to put anything!

They checked me into the worst location, next to the kitchen and garden where smoking was prohibited but everyone smoked and it filled my room. It was very loud and inconvenient. Night clerk was completely out of it.

We booked Moxy Paris Bastille based on a friend’s recommendation and the competitive price and good reviews we saw on Expedia— and we are so glad we did! It was just what we were looking for: a clean, comfortable, stylish, and safe hotel in a nice area of Paris. Perfect for a solo traveler or a couple. The area was lovely and convenient to major tourist attractions, but just off-the-beaten path enough that it was cleaner and quieter than other neighborhoods we’ve experienced in this city. Lots of charming cafes and restaurants nearby. The famous Bastille is a 5 min walk away. Notre Dame is a pleasant 30 minute walk away; the Louvre is also 30-40 min by foot. Of course, you could also use the convenient and efficient metro or taxi/uber. The staff was friendly and went out of their way to be helpful— even accommodating an early check-in without an additional charge. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here immensely! Highly recommend!

Very disappointing: for nearly $300 a night (and a Marriott name) you get a minuscule room with no closet, drawer or place to hang.the shower is impossible to set, going from boiling hot to cold (no pressure compensation!) and has to be held; the pillows are huge and hard, the sheets too short for the bed. It is clean.

Staff themselves lovely in attitude but I had to ask 3 times for shower gel as the room bottle was empty. Some did eventually arrive but only after I’d showered using shampoo - not exactly the end of the world but not what I’d expect from a good hotel . The fact you only get one bottle of water per stay wasn’t good either. The lack of decaf coffee was also annoying. All little things but add up to a sub-par experience.
