we arrived at our hotel very late at night after a long drive, and our AC and Fridge weren’t functioning. it was already too late and we were too exhausted to get back downstairs to change our room so we slept in the room. it was not very pleasant but the room and hotel was very beautiful and clean.

Expected more from a HILTON. Got some bug bites overnight and there was an ant infestation. We had a sweet snack and it was covered in ants on the counter top in the room. Ants also present in the lobby area on the couch.

Expedia site says 3pm check in. Got the and they said room was not ready. Check in is actually 4. Then the hotel says outdoor pool opens at 7am. Which it actually opens at 10am. Other than that was nice.

We arrived later in the evening. The staff member was pretty scattered. He was the only person at the front desk. He made check in stressful. We got to the room the temperature was around 75. thought it was due to no one being in the room and they keep the room at a higher temp. The next morning the temperature was 83 we called the front desk no answer. We had things to do that day so said we would address it when we returned. That night we we returned the temp in the room was still 83 we called the front desk again no answer. We turned the system off to try and reset it while we went to dinner downstairs. Told the guy working the front desk there was an issue with our a/c. He said he would send someone up. We got back to our room after midnight unit was still off. Turned it back on temp was now 84 per thermostat. I called the front desk several no answer. Next morning the thermostat still read 83. We took the keys to the front desk and told the lady what happened and she said sorry I'll have someone look at it.

The advertised photo of the outside scenery is nothing like that in person day nor night. Before arriving, I made a call to inform the Hotel my arrival wouldn't be exactly at 3pm as book through Expedia due to traffic. I was told that they didn't do 3pm check-in's only 4pm, but they've find a room available if the arrival is before 4pm. Once arrived I was told the key for the room would have to be returned the next for a new set. They supposedly were resetting room locks, but my guest and I were the only ones when checking in told this. The room (poolside) I was given was infested with ants crawling unto me while sitting on the bed, luggage, tables, and I seen that they were crawling from the patio door. I was only in the room less than 20 minutes. I was given free breakfast vouchers for the inconvenience along with a new room. The new room still had ants crawling from the shower drain, and the window side of the nightstand of the new room. The next day when I gave the temporary key back for the actual sets, once back from the day out neither keys worked for the room. I had to travel multiple times from the 5th floor to the front desk just for one of the two keys to actual work for the room. In both rooms when it came to the garbage cans, the bag wasn't placed in it, its left to the guest to do. That may be minor, but with all these inconvenience's that I experienced just added to this hotel not meeting my expectations. I won't recommend nor stay again.
