As the only hotel in Hackettstown, I've stayed here several times during my kid's time at Centenary University. It was, without a doubt, the worst hotel I've ever stayed at, with one trip having uncleaned vomit in the hotel elevator the entire stay. However, the hotel has significantly improved, and the last two trips have been pleasant, with clean rooms and updated bedding. Hotel staff is friendly and courteous, the beds are comfortable, and the location is convenient.

Ceiling had water stains, floor was cracked, bathroom light fixture was barely hanging on the wall. There was a hole in the wall by the toilet. The room was freezing when we first got there. Vending machines are out of order, no carpeting in the room. And I had to ask for toilet paper.

They charged me a fee for changing a day. Hotel was not full and it was not my fault on the wrong date. Hotel.com team was not able to help at all. Facility allowed smoking. I suffer from severe asthma and this was painful. Never would have booked knowing they had smoke rooms.

My traveling companion and I stayed 2 nights to attend a nearby event. This hotel was clean and well-maintained, very quiet, and close to many restaurants. Bed was perfect for me and I slept well. Buffet breakfast included was typical, with all carbs, and we supplemented with stuff we brought plus sandwiches at Dunkin. Communication with hotel (through Expedia messaging) could have been better. Overall, very positive!
