If I were you I would NEVER stay here!!!!!! The room I was given had a distinct terrible odor and the TV and room telephone didn't work. I called the front desk from my cellphone and was told the manager would arrive in 30 minutes. After an hour and no manager, i called again - twice and there was no answer. I went down to the front desk and the guy behind the counter was on his cellphone. He told me he wasn't the manager but he would have the manager come up in 15 minutes. The same guy appeared at my room door and now admitted he was the manager. After not being able to fix the TV he said there was nothing he could do and left. I packed up my stuff and went down to checkout. When i got there, two different guests were complaining; one because his TV also didn't work and the other because his no smoking room stunk of cigarette smoke. Then another guest came down and was crying that one of his workers entered her room and stole her purse containing $1,100 in cash along with her ID and credit cards. Again the "manager" wasn't any help to anyone. He even refused to give me a confirmation that i checked out (within 2 hours of checking in!)! I ultimately called the Wayne NJ police to tell them what was going on.They dispatched two officers; one handled my issue and the other for the now hysterical woman who said she was robbed by one of their employees.After the officer took my report and gave me the report number, i left the premises. I fought Expedia 3 days to get my money back!

There were several stains on sheets, hot water did not turn on at all in bathroom sink, sink was clogged, bathroom door was in poor shape, and tv channels were unavailable. We tried calling the front desk and and did not get a response. We appreciated the property was quiet and it was an affordable stay, but we would not book again here.

This was our second stay here. The first time we asked for & paid for a Queen bed. It was NO WHERE near a queen. So we should have gotten money back. Our room had to be changed three times . 1) no tv reception 2) key card wouldn't work 3) again no remote but one was found for us. At our second stay we had to pay extra for a bigger bed. Again, no remote. Went to desk, no one there. Returned second time, got a remote, didn't work. wrong remote so a tech had to come. We had 2 yappy dogs next door & in the morning we were woken up by a HUGE fight going on above us. It went on for a half hour before anyone came . Since there was no phone in the room, we couldn't call the front desk. Everything about this place is old and falling apart. Will never stay here again.

I arrived at night and upon entering the room I felt very disappointed with the decision I made. The hotel was in very poor condition; the building is very old, the bathrooms were very dirty, the towels also looked used, and the entrance door didn't close properly. I didn't feel safe; I had to put the table in front of the door to be able to sleep.

The young lady at reception was very nice. Nothing against her at all. The hotel well the police come twice to the room next door. Tv didn’t work couldn’t call front desk becomes phone didn’t work either. WiFi was down and onsite at times when it did work for a few minutes. The iron was nasty and corroded.

This is a very bad place to stay. The staff is so unfriendly. They have no idea how to communicate properly. We landed at EWR airport after a long flight and went to this place around 11 pm. The staff were very rude and/or unfriendly. In the middle of the night we had to walk past 5-6 minutes to find the room. The room numbers are so confusing that it took so much time for us to figure out the location. When we finally reached the room, it was locked. The key worked but was apparently stuck or locked from inside. Then we got another room. That room was so dirty. The curtain was at least 25 years old. The dirt and dust were visible. The electric outlets were open. Then in the bathroom for three of us, there was only towel. Please avoid this place. While we were there, I could hear a man leaving the room with his 3 children cursing ….”A prison cell may be better than this place”. I booked for two nights - $120 per night. We left the place after one day.
