This hotel is way overpriced for what it is. Room and overall hotel was dirty and dusty, very dated and window stared out to a wall. Area of town is not desirable for a solo female traveler. Food at restaurant was not good. Bar in lobby was never open and had cation tape around it one day. Would have canceled if sat wasn’t refundable. Property fee also tacked on—no idea why for. Stay elsewhere if you are a business person. This feels like a straight up hostel.

I have stayed at Loews at least a dozen times. Definite favorite. Most recently, I stayed in a two-king bed studio suite. Perfect for two adult travelers, enough room for us each to have our own areas, large bathroom, great shower.

The walk in shower made our stay convenient and safe for my wife who is a stroke survivor with left paralysis.

We were in the older part of the building. They have replaced carpets, etc. Still looks so old and dreary. Old elevator. Had pool view but wouldn’t open curtains because people could see us. Didn’t feel private. This part of the building is just two levels. We were on the second level. Bus travel to park was long wait times. About 20 mins.

We booked the stay for 3 days but ended up leaving after the first night because of the condition of the room. It smelled heavily of marijuana, the bath/shower did not work properly, the fridge rattled loudly all night, and the room didn’t even have proper ceiling lights. Overall it felt poorly maintained and not as advertised. I do appreciate that management acknowledged the issues and issued a full refund, but unfortunately the stay itself was disappointing enough that we couldn’t continue the reservation.

I like that there is a self-serve, 24 hour market for basic food and drink, as well as a cafe. As a solo traveler, I also found it safe and the staff very helpful. The rooms are modern and clean. I also appreciate that there are water stations on each floor, so you can fill your water bottle.
