Mixed bag... The property has the potential to be great, but it isn't. Staff were either untrained or ambivalent, or even worse- the GM was unwilling to accept even constructive criticism, and when I began talking to him he immediately 'knee jerked' by saying how he just took the position, and then was rude and arrogant about everything I told him. I treated an elderly patient who feel when I was there (I was trying to leave, and it was obvious the staff were not medically trained,) and it cost me several hours when I was just trying to leave, and continue on with my trip. Staff could communicate even the most basic of information to one another, and it constantly seemed weird, and like no one was even clear of what their job was. The property felt soulless, and clearly the owners are more interested in making a maximum profit than actually making it feel like or seem like a 4 star property. I was there for many nights/several days, and I intentionally left the room one morning because housekeeping was in the room next door. When I came back several hours later I found that my room had not even been touched! Gross incompetence everywhere, and the 'new' jackal of a GM is not going to improve on that. Location is on the outside of town, making it somewhat removed, but also kind of inconvenient, unless you are cool with eating in the same restaurant for every meal, and even that they close early when it's not busy. Really disappointing overall.
