This hotel was great. It’s in a quiet area. Check in was quick. I especially love their breakfast choices. The hotel is very clean. All the amenities were in the room. They have this little closet for the iron and iron board.

Excellent!

Just stopping for the night on the way to Myrtle Beach with the family. The staff at check in was very nice and welcoming. Great room, great price and breakfast was great!

To clarify, the cleaning crew is the only negative comments I have on the staff. The ones I encountered were very rude. The folks behind the counter & working the kitchen, etc, were all WONDERFUL. Great breakfast, clean spaces, nice pool. Loud traffic (to be expected). Very convenient to the heart of Winston Salem. Still confused why the hotel attempted to charge me twice…? Overall, we had a lovely stay! Hooray for Holiday Inn Expresses!

Holiday Inn Express No More

I used to be a Holiday Inn Rewards customer. Now retired, I don't stay at hotels that often, but I think I will now avoid the chain. Last week I ordered a handicap room but got a standard room which was totally unacceptable. This week I got a handicap room, but the window shade was stuck all the way down, and the desk lamp didn't work. This was the same Holiday Inn Express property, so maybe it's just this site. But there are other hotels chains that I've stayed at that are better.
